Travellers will be part of a wonderful team and participate in the festival and its setup. Learning how the infrastructure of a festival works is always an interesting experience. Plus you get to be around an abundance of inspiring and motivated people with various opportunities to improve your language and social skills.

Arbeit
We will need some help in various sections during, before and after our beautiful festival is taking place.
Tasks will be varying and can include things like:
moving installations on the festival ground and setting up workshop tents
Being part of the kitchen team: involving cutting veggies, organizing meals or cooking for the backstage team
placing water pipes or cables for the infrastructure
create decoration or art in our creative team (i.e. building pallet furniture, making dreamcatchers etc.)
and many more
These tasks are divided over our whole team of volunteers for the festival and therefor part of the cultural exchange as you will be joining our team and get involved in the full process of setting up and running an ecologically oriented festival.
In exchange you will be rewarded with 3 tasty meals from our kitchen team every day and our own kind of accomodation on the festival grounds.
We are an NGO and all of us are volunteering for food, experience or simply the fun of it.
The festival itself will take place from 25. July – 28. July 2024, we will start the setup from the 21.07. on and deconstruct everything after the festival is over until 01.08.Gesprochene Sprachen

If we are surprised by bad weather we have a big room to sleep in at a nearby village, but we usually sleep in tents on the festival ground. We could provide a tent, a sleeping mat or a sleeping bag if needed, just ask.

Auerstedt is easy to reach by train to Bad Sulza. A bike is a handy alternative that will bring your quickly from A to B in the area. Hitchhiking is, as always, a very good option, too. Bad Sulza and Weimar are close by if you want to pay a visit.

I worked most of the time in the kitchen. Thanks a lot to Mirke, Uke, Julio and to all the people, whose name I unfortunately do not remember 😀.
Wish you all a great day. Cheers🎉😀
