  Hello Workawayers!
  
  We are a Lotte and Erich, a retired couple living in the picturesque countryside of Salzburg, surrounded by stunning mountains, lush meadows, and the idyllic charm of the Austrian landscape. Our home is located just outside the city of Salzburg in the village Faistenau, offering the perfect blend of peaceful rural life and easy access to the vibrant cultural scene of the city. Faistenau can be easily reached by public transport.
  
  We are passionate travelers with a deep love for exploring new cultures and meeting people from around the world. In the evenings, we enjoy unwinding with a good glas of red wine, reflecting on life and sharing stories from our adventures.

  We are situated in a region, famous for its crystal-clear lakes, picturesque villages, and breathtaking scenery. Whether you enjoy hiking, swimming, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, you'll find plenty to do here. There’s a lovely lake nearby, perfect for taking a refreshing dip on warm days.
  
  In your free time, you can explore the countless hiking trails, visit the city of Salzburg with its rich history and culture, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. We often end the day with a glass of wine and good conversation, and we'd be delighted for you to join us.

  Arbeit

  As a Workawayer, you will assist us with a variety of tasks that help keep our home and garden in order. Your responsibilities may include:
  
  Gardening:
  Helping us maintain our garden, which includes flower beds, vegetable patches, and fruit trees. Depending on the season, you might assist with planting, weeding, harvesting, or general upkeep.
  
  Small DIY and building Projects:
  In our house, there is always something to do. We have small maintenance tasks or creative projects around the house where hand working skills are helpful. We have all kinds of tools and a small workshop available for making the work easier.

  Unterkunft

  In return for your help, we offer comfortable accommodation in a cosy room with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. You'll also enjoy delicious home-cooked meals (Lotte really is a great chef), and of course, plenty of opportunities to relax, explore, and experience the beauty of Salzburg and the surrounding areas. As we love hiking and swimming, we can give you a lot of tips for the best places to explore around.
  
  You will have your own room in the upper floor of our house. The main bathroom in the upper floor is shared but there is also a separate bathroom in the ground floor available if you prefer that.
