Help a family in Westport, Co. Mayo, beautiful west of Ireland

  Hello….
  My name is Niamh and I live in the west of Ireland with my partner Ryan, two young daughters and our dog.
  We would love to have someone come to stay with us to help us out with our children while we work. This would be for just about 7 hours per day, twice or three times per week and maybe some weekend nights.
  We live just outside the town of Westport in a spacious 4 bed house. There are beautiful walks in the countryside to explore and on our days off we would be more than willing to take drives, walks, hikes with you or bring you to places of interest in the area. There is some stunning coastal scenery and activities just 30 minutes away. On the other hand there is lots of buses and trains that could take you around other part of Ireland to explore.
  Ideally we would like to host someone with a pretty good spoken English as unfortunately neither of us speak another language. We would love to learn though so that is something we look forward to. As much and all as I am passionate about the Irish culture, I would love for us and our children to learn about yours too.

  I really think the west of Ireland has so much to offer someone wishing to travel and live here for some time. There is lots of history in the west and the best of mountains and coastline. A really good atmosphere in local towns too.

  Arbeit

  So we both work full time, my partner is self employed and I work for a pharmaceutical company with varying shifts. One month of day shifts and one month nights. We have daytime childcare so really we would just need some help with picking up our children and dropping them off. This is just a short walk away from our home along a countryside road.
  When picking up the children then it would just be to get them home and to bed until Ryan gets home from work at 23.30.
  We don’t expect strenuous house work but we do expect that any potential workaway would keep their own space clean and to clean up after themselves ie, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen when they use it.
  We have two children under three so our house is definitely not always tidy but we do like it to be clean.

  4 bed bungalow, shared toilet with shower. Double bedroom.
  We are happy to include you when we cook but if you have an interest in cooking then we are definitely open to learning and tasting some of your country’s food.

  We haven’t worked with this type of idea before so it’s all a learning curve for us. We hope we and you will love the experience.
