We have just purchased a 40 acre farm property on a lake in Ontario. The property is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Toronto. It is near Peterborough, Ontario. We are setting up a permaculture farm. There is a lot of work to be done on the farm like removing the invasive species and clearing out the barn. The farm has a fantastic view of the lake and at the end of the day you can go to the lake to swim. If you are interested in visiting Toronto as well as working on a farm that is close to Toronto this is a great opportunity for you.

You will have the opportunity to speak English and to see some of the beautiful lakes that we have in Ontario. Yo will have a chance to work on a farm. We will also be spending some in time in Toronto (one or two days) so you have a chance to see a bit of Toronto.

This year the main work to be done on the farm is clearing out the barn and removing invasive species from the property.

On the farm you will either be staying in a tent in the fields of the farm overlooking the lake or staying in one of the rooms in the farm house. We will all work together to prepare meals. I will provide the food.
There are tons of lakes and wilderness activities i the area. Boating and canoeing. It is a great area for people who love the wilderness. Bobcaygeon is a close town as well as Peterborough. There will also be an opportunity to visit Toronto.
