    **WHO WE ARE:**
We’re a lively, open-hearted family of four (plus a 5 decades of hospitality experience!) nestled in rural Ontario, 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and 45 minutes from Niagara-on-the-Lake’s vineyards. After running a B&B for 7 years pre-pandemic, we’re excited to welcome travelers again—this time through cultural exchange. This will be out 4th year on Workaway !

    **OUR HOME:**
A spacious 6-bedroom house surrounded by gardens and trees, offering peace, fresh air, and starlit nights. You’ll have a private room and access to shared spaces. *Note:* We’re in the countryside—quiet and serene, but a car/bike is ideal for exploring. Unfortunately, there is no public transportation.

    **WHO’S HERE:**
    - **Us**: Two working parents who love storytelling, video games,DIY projects, sharing meals, and great conversations.
    - **The Girls**: Independent 7-year-old biracial half-sister twins! They’re in school/activities most days, so there is limited interaction due to school and extracurricular activities, but they do adore saying “hello” and learning about new cultures.

    **HELP NEEDED (Seasonal!):**
    - **🌷 Spring season 2026, We are looking for help with Spring cleanup in the yard with landscaping, as well as some painting inside our home. We have a rather large yard and even though everything was cleaned up in the fall, after winter things need gone over a bit. I'm also painting and organizing our craft room and we could use some assistance with that.

    - **Always**: Enthusiasm for small daily tasks (meal prep, tidying) is appreciated!

    **WE OFFER:**
    - **Your Own Room and private bathroom**: Quiet space to recharge with a queen size bed.
    - **Shared Meals**: Home-cooked dinners. Non-vegetarian, pork and chicken are our main source of protein, with lots of vegetables mixed in. About 70% of our food tends to be traditional Chinese, which is broth base or oil-based, and lots of vegetables, but very few of them are vegan, if that is a dietary concern.
    - **Cultural Exchange**: Swap stories with a family that’s hosted guests from 20+ countries!

    **WHY STAY WITH US?**
    - **Location**: Hike Niagara Gorge, or unwind in nature—all within reach.
    - **Learn**: Pick up gardening tips, DIY hacks, or parenting tricks (twins = endless stories!).
    - **Belong**: Join a family that values curiosity, kindness, friendship, and laughter.
