Louison is wonderful, she is fun, cheerful, polite and very attentive. She is a diligent, contentious worker- executing all tasks exactly as you asked her to do them. Louison was much liked by everyone in the team and family. And she is also the most amazing cook. She helped everywhere: In the stables- mucking out and feeding up to 14 horses,

She hacked out and rode flatwork on our young horses every day and really helped them to come along. She looked after our daughter and entertained us with chat and of course the amazing cooking. We hope she will come back to visit us anytime she wants! Kieran, Sophie, Cecily and Padraic

Hi Sophie ! Excuse me for my very late feedback… I have been 5 weeks at Sophie’s home this summer and I had very good time there. The family is so nice! It was a real pleasure to spend time with Cecily, she is a very sociable girl and she is mature for her age. The work corresponds to the description and Sophie is respectful of schedules. You have
… read more a lot of free time to ride horses. They are very nice (particularly Grisaille!). Even though I wasn’t good enough, I could ride a lot.
We can see that the family is looking for a cultural/human exchange and not only for workers. They are very hospitable. Moreover, there are often people at home (workers and guests) so there is a good atmosphere. I will never forget family dinners, horseback riding in the fields, the beautiful (and cold) lake… I had just good times there and I was very sad to leave them.
For future “workawayers”: don’t hesitate to go there, it’s a wonderful place!
I hope to see you again :)

A big apologize for my late feedback. Since I'm not there anymore, I think about the very great time there. All was perfect - the environment, the horses, the house and of course my hosts: Sophie and Kiran were wonderful and gave me always the feeling, that I am at home (and I am not only loves the flower T-shirt of their daughter - she is so

I hope we will see us soon! Thank you for great time!Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

Dear Ida,
We miss you- our daughter says she does not want to wear her flower shirt anymore- as it reminds her of Ida, who always told our daughter how much she liked that shirt.
Ida was an excellent helper around our farm, with the horses, chicken and sheep.
She is a very good patient rider- well able to bring on young horses and ponies!
Her

She has amazing social skills, always a smile on her face, she listens carefully and politely and has a conversation with everyone. She makes people feel at ease through her caring and helpful manner.
Always the first to offer to do something that needed being done. She is also most excellent at baking.
We sincerely hope she will come back some day

I had an amazing time with Sophie, Kieran, Cecily, Evelyn, their three dogs, the horses (especially Serastro :)) and the other volunteers and I am missing all of them a lot! They were so welcoming and made me feel being part of their family from day one. I especially enjoyed sitting or eating with them together at lunchtime or dinner and talking
… read more with them about anything and everything (and eating Kierans food, because he cooks so marvelously!).
During the week I helped them with their daughter Cecily (playing with her and her friends, looking after her, doing homework, baking with her, etc.) and we had a lot of fun together. On some days I also helped them in the stable (e.g. mocking out the stables, washing the horses, feeding, cleaning the tack, bringing the horses to the fields, helping with the foals, etc.) which was also great fun for me.
Although I am not such a experienced rider, Sophie and other volunteers taught me a lot about riding and handling horses correctly and I had the opportunity to ride whenever I wanted.
On my days off I had the opportunity to take the car and visit a great number of interesting places all over Ireland (alone or with other volunteers).
My three month-stay moved so quickly and I am missing them a lot! Thank you for this amazing experience and I hope that I can come back to visit you soon!Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

I completely forgot to leave a feedback for this wonderful family which is a shame because I had a really great time with Kieran, Sophie and especially with Cecily. My stay there was my first experience with workaway and during my stay I spent most of the time with Cecily. Cecily is a very creative child. She likes to make up stories while playing
… read more and loves to play hide and seek. It never gets boring with her, she is just lovely and very funny. Sometimes her friends came over and they all played together. Her friends and their parents are all very nice and fun to hang out with. I also helped with the horses from time to time. We mucked out their stables, fed them and brought them out to the fields. It was also fun to hang out with Chris, Kayleigh and David, who all work there. There are also plenty of opportunities to ride. The area is just beautiful for hacking. I am not the best rider myself but they taught me a lot of things concerning horses and riding during my stay there. If you are a good rider, they might also take you to competitions or hunts. A fellow workawayer was able to take part in a charity hunt and the hunter trials during my stay and really enjoyed it. Apart from the work experience, they also took us to different events, such as bowling, a point-to-point race, Mullingar Equestrian Center and a charity hunt.
I had a great time and I would definitely recommend staying with them.Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

She took our 3 dogs for walks and helped with general maintenance work around the place.

During the cold winter she reliably mucked out, fed and also rode our horses 5 days a week- always with a smile on her face.
