  Must have a work visa as this is a paid position in Canada -Join our small team at our adventure hostel near Jasper National Park. We are 3 kms from the entrance of the park and a scenic 45 minute drive to downtown Jasper . We have 30 single private rooms , a common living room and two fully stocked kitchens . Hikes and a brewery right out the front door ! Beautiful and seclude new sea can building at the foot of Folding Mountain in Jasper East , Alberta

  We will show you around the park and town at least once a week . The hostel is closed 11-5pm everyday and this is when we can get out and hike on the slower days or when our work is done . Many guests from all over the world is always fun the hang with and share meals in our 2 kitchens .Our common area is a buzz of activity with cooking , playing games and socializing . You will never be lonely or bored there is so much to do in the area and with 20-30 hostel guests each day it's a fun time ! I am a certified hiking guide as well as the hostel manager and can tell you all about our beautiful park and hikes .I do hike a few times a week and you will always be welcome when work is done or on your day off!

  Arbeit

  We need one hostel helper, 5 days a week ( 6 days on the busy weeks if you want more hours ). duties 10-3 pm or 4-10 (maybe a bit of Front desk if you like ) The hostel is closed at this time ( closed daily 11am-5pm) and you would be working alone mostly but I will always be around as I live on property. We do not make beds , just a fitted sheet on each bed and the rest of the linens left for the guest to make their own bed . Cleaning of the rooms bathrooms ,tidy up kitchens and common area ( these rooms will be done mostly but the morning front desk worker) , putting on a load of laundry during the work day for the night staff to fold and put away . You will have your own beautiful main floor private room with your own bathroom and shower .All bedding and towels are included and free laundry . This is a new building , very clean and bright . Your wage would be $16 per hour and you would be working 25-30 hours a week . I am looking for a minimum of one month stay , but will need help for the entire summer, if things would out and you are a good fit we can make it a long stay . you will have lots of free time to chill or hike, bike and enjoy Jasper National Park or you enjoy hanging around the hostel .The hot springs are 30 mins away . You will have an opportunity to work more hours if you like at the front desk or hosting the evening guest (5-10pm) if you like. We can discuss when you are here . We also have a stunning yoga space that you may use and a firepit for you and guests to enjoy that we will light nightly.

  Unterkunft

  Beautiful new private single main floor room , with private bathroom and shower , Very bright , all bedding and towels included , Fully stocked common kitchen down the hall , use of yoga studio, free laundry, drive to town shops once a week , hikes out the front door , parking if needed.

  no smoking is preferred , bring your hiking gear, we are not party kind of place , we love quite nights around the firepit .We do enjoy a beer or wine but we do not tolerate drunkenness. Quite time is always 10pm-7am.
  Having a car would be best as there is no public transit , but if you don't have a car don't worry I will get you to town for shopping once a week and on some great hikes . We will have a message board where you can leave requests for drives to trailheads and town .
