  As you see on pictures, we are a small family of elderly parents and myself and 2 dogs and roaming cats on a semi-industrial semi-agricultural place in Ypsonas Limassol.
  
  so far me and my elderly mom (my father is even older) do all the diy here, just plastering walls and paintint it, if you know how to organize a garden or general help (nothing specialty, we dont require you to be a plumber etc, just generaly helping) would be nice for us, and we can teach Greek (daily if you want), English although its not my mother tongue but I speak fluently, and eat with us local food like Moutzendra, Houmous etc. that we make. If you want you can also buy your own food from supermarkets like LIDL that is 2 km walk away.
  
  I have an old mountain bike if someone knows how to fix it because its deflated and not used for years but I have some alien key tools to fix it if you want to spend time with it. I used to cycle but not in Cyprus. In general cycling here is not common, and people aren't very tolerant of cyclists but because I cycled daily when I lived in Germany I am stuck with the 'culture' of cycling.
  
  We are locals so you can learn Greek language as we interact, so i prefer people who want to learn some Greek. If you are not interested in Greek and Greek food, how else can we repay your help? So i prefer helpers who have an active interest into learning Greek language and suntanning (lots of sun here...).
  
  For 1 helper I can guarantee daily breakfast coffee and noon food (can be split into noon and afternoon meals). But this means you stick around. If you take bus and travel we cannot pay your tickets or food when you travel away from our project. We want you to explore thats why I ask help only Monday-Thursday so that you can possibly explore Cyprus on weekends by traveling to other places. You can also go to another workaway project and then come back here should you need to. This way you can live in, for example, 2 cities and not 1 city. You could split your time between Paphos and Limassol, there is intercity bus. Or Larnaca and Limassol.
  
  Until October 1 - 2024 I cannot offer car transfers. After October 2024 I can pick you up from Bus hub in Limassol and show you Limassol with my car. So if you volunteer here before oct 2024, no lift and no car. Nearest bus station is 2 km away/ supermarket/ kiosk with wifi/ cafe with wifi, all 2 km walk away (and 2 km walk back to us). Are you comfortable with walking? In the sun? The roads here have no pavements as its a semi-rural area.
  
  Because of limit with car transfers until october 2024 I cannot help with transfers and I feel bad about it, therefore we prefer a helper who wants to enjoy the sun, suntanning in our yard (huge space open air) and not walk that much. We can provide all meals (morning - noon- afternoon) and tea/coffee. But we cannot pay you money.
  
  The 'work', is 2 hours Monday-Thursday so you can spend weekends exploring the rest of Cyprus. We have beutifying jobs like painting an external wall white, de-cluttering the garden, and in general, a lot of debris collecting as this space sadly used to be a car breaker facillity and now we live here and we stil pick up tiny pieces of metal.
  
  We have 2 dogs and roaming cats, we are not a luxury setting, so its not suitable for the skearmish. We like to just improve the place creatively, if you are an artist and you want to do a grafitti or a mural I can help you (i dabble with art too),. there is a lot of recently made wall here that one can paint or plaster or do graffiti.
  
  Great setting for bird watching if you are into that. Just observe early morning birds when they somehow always arrive morning hours. From eagles to smaller ones. A variety of birds. You can also use internet to learn more about them.
  
  If you bring your own camping equipment you will be even more comfortable. In case of rain or you need something better, the wc/shower has a tiny space for a campbed to be used only at night. That is a shac with shingle roof but its better from a tent or open air but you must fold the bed during day so that you and us can use the wc/shower.
  
  The camping area is with electricity provision (free of course) and cover from sun but its not a tent.

  We are locals so you can learn Greek language as we interact, I can show you Limassol cultural sites (castles, fortresses, historical sites.). If you want, I can pinpoint you to archaeological and byzantine(medieval) sites near Limassol. We are 2 km walk from bus station taking you either to curium beach or the city center of limassol, you choose:) Also 2 km away supermarkets (a variety), bakery with local cuisine (and cheap), bus stations, kiosks with wifi, cafeterias with wifi.

  - walls need painting (nothing professional, all you can do that is, we dont ask profesional quality)
  - some decluttering in the gardens
  - help me when i do a project to improve the conditions for workawayers (clean the yard, paint it, keep it clean and tidy, add some artworks - you can do your own art project-)

  I am interested in all languages because I like to learn the basic vocabulary of any language but I try to self teach Russian because we have a large Russian community in Cyprus (im not Russian im Cypriot) and sometimes its good to knwo Russian here and also Chinese and German.

  Unterkunft

  You can choose:
  
  tiny shac with foldable bed strictly big enough for 1 person only. Its adjustent to the wc/shower so day time we may ask you to fold the bed and use the shac. But night time is yours with electricity provision and if you want to check only emails i will provide briefly internet for you. The area has full cellular coverage if you buy a cypriot simcard from Larnaca Airport you can top it up with internet data and use that here, we are not in a remote place without cellular. But we just dont have internet at home. I use my cellular.

  Access to common wc/shower but sleeping not in the shac but cheap (i will buy it) 2 person tent and inflatable matress, this is an option too, but notice please I will buy cheapest tent available just to sleep, you cannot stand tall in it, and during daytime you can sit under shaded area and use electricity from the supply in the shac,
  
  I am trying to raise money to buy a cabin then i can host in even better conditions (a cabin would not have wc but would be a tiny room independent just outside the common wc/shower). Or if a helper want, WITH ME (not alone) we can perhaps build a cabin as a common project. That would be neat. I want to build stuff:)
