I stayed at Marina’s place for a month, was a great experience!
Helped her working on the garden, making compost, pruning trees, a bit of painting, some maintenance to the property doing some fixing here and there. We were working on something different everyday which makes the stay easy and dynamic.

The little and house in Marienfelde at the beginning feels a bit far from the city since normally it’s fifty minutes or an hour of travel to center and even more if you got back late in the night but once you understand how to move around and get used to the confortable place she provides, you can flow with it easily. Also she lent me a bicycle which is great!!
Very great full to Marina and this experience!!!

It did not match. Lessons in German language were taken, working was poor since of being afraid of nature and insects.
Nolyn and Mylee were so sweet, friendly, always busy, communicative and outstanding in what they did for me. Hoping for a next time when I can spoil them as they spoiled me with their helping hands. Thank you and stay as you are. Always welcome🤗🥰M.

… read more hard but experiences in building and working with wood as mentioned were completely missing. Their experiences in computing and cooking (both had jobs beside workawaying) were not needed. But, at the end we all learned something (I hope). P. e. How to use a tool for angles (hihi). With the help of family and friend we got soon later the roof up and enjoyed the rain on the terrace. Being dry!

I stayed at Marina’s place for 10 days. I did some different activities: I transported some heavy object from the basement to the 5th floor with her, then we cleaned them in order to sell them. I made a deep cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom, I took off some pictures from the frames so she could sell them, I helped Marina with taking off some
… read more books from a closet so she could sort which one she wanted to keep, and I could clean all the dust. It was really nice to change my task everyday, I didn’t get bored, I always put some music on and worked with her supervision and company. Marina cooked for me quite everyday even if the very first day she said she would not provide any food, so she was really cute! Being honest at first I though she was a little too strict, than I understood she just had some very bad experience, so if you behave correctly she will be nice to you. The guest room is really pretty, the bathroom was shared with her and another guest, but I had no problem with that. The house is really well connected to the centre, 1 minute from the transportation and 1 minute from the supermarket. Me and Marina had also occasion to talk about many topics after dinner, she made eggs and pancakes for breakfast sometimes, I made pizza for her once, we had an icecream and a little walk, and on the weekend she invited me to the lakeside with some other friends. It was absolutly amazing. Last day she also gave me a little gift and brought me to the airport by car, which was not expected at all.
