  Hello,
  Here I am back on the site, because it is always easier to welcome when the weather is better !
  My name is Marie, I am 62 years old and I live with my friend Thierry who is also 61 years old.
  I have a small house in a village in the Tarn at Vaour to be exact, a village of 380 habitants, very lively, which is 12 km from Saint Antonin.
  The countryside of Vaour is very beautiful, with many walks to do.
  The house is located in the heart of the village. In this village there is an associative café, a grocery store, a thrift store, a library and a village hall. It is a very lively place with regular cultural and artistic events.
  Three times a week, as soon as the good weather returns, the village square comes alive with bowlers.
  Vaour is a typically French village, full of life and human warmth.

  Me voici de retour sur le site, car il est toujours plus simple d'accueillir à la belle saison !
  Je m'appelle Marie, j'ai 62 ans et je vis avec mon ami Thierry lui aussi agé de 62 ans.
  J'ai une petite maison dans un village du Tarn à Vaour exactement, village de 380 habitants, très vivant et animé qui se trouve à 12 km de Saint Antonin.
  La campagne de Vaour est très belle, avec de nombreuses ballades à faire.
  La maison est située en plein coeur du village. Dans ce village se trouve un café associatif, une épicerie, une friperie, une bibliothèque et une salle des fêtes. C'est un lieu très vivant avec des manifestations culturelles et artistiques régulières.
  Le mercredi soir il y a jeux de société au café associatif, vendredi...Souvent des concerts
  3 fois par semaine, dès que le beau temps revient, la place du village s'anime avec les boulistes.
  Bref, Vaour, c'est un village typiquement français, plein de vie et de chaleur humaine.
  
  J'aime les jeux de sociétés qui offre l'occasion de rigoler un brin ;) et je suis une personne ouverte et spontanéennée.
  Vous disposerez d'une grande chambre indépendante.

  Vaour is a very open and friendly village, the area is extremely rich and varied. We usually make us Sunday morning at the market in Saint Antonin Noble Vals and stay a while in the cafe.
  On Friday evening, the associative village café often has a small concert. We gladly share these moments with you.
  And I gladly speak in English even if I am not perfectly bilingual.
  
  Vaour est un village très ouvert et convivial, la région est extrêmement riche et variée. Nous avons pour habitude de nous rendre le dimanche matin au marché de Saint Antonin Noble Vals et de rester quelques temps à la terrasse du café.
  Le vendredi soir, le café associatif du village propose souvent un petit concert. Nous partagerons volontiers tous ces instants avec vous.
  Et je parle volontier en anglais même si je ne suis pas parfaitement bilingue.

  Tidying up a garage, moving furniture (a lot of dust!)... Gardening. Painting, DIY. We are used to preparing meals together or taking turns. Working hours are organized according to the desires and possibilities of each.
  
  Rangement d'un garage, bouger des meubles (Pas mal de poussière !)... Jardinage. Peinture, bricolage.
  Nous avons l'habitude de préparer les repas ensemble ou à tour de rôle.
  Les horaires de travail s'organisent en fonction des possibilités de chacun.

  The house has a very large living room, kitchen on the ground floor with a large terrace overlooking the garden. In the heart of the village.
  Vous aurez une chambre indépendante
  La maison dispose d'un très grand salon, cuisine au RDC avec une grande terrasse sur jardin.
  
  Nous sommes en plein coeur du village.

  Pendant votre temps libre, il y a tout plein de lieux à visiter autour.
  La rivière en été, mais aussi de nombreuses grottes, Via Ferrata, randonnées, spectacles, soirée jeux ou musique au bar associatif du village.
  Thierry est un pationné de rando, escalade, ballades en vélo.
  Si vous ne disposez pas de voiture, il y a un système de covoiturage assez actif sur le village.
  
  Having had a few people stay & work with us in the past few years,in Toulouse. We can now speak from experience & say that we tend to get on better with couples. We enjoy cooking and sharing meals with our guests.
  
  As host's we do not have any specific insurance cover in the case of an accident or sickness concerning those who choose to come to stay with us. We have never had any trouble with this so far and will not be asking you to do anything dangerous, we simply ask visitors to be especially careful and tell us straight away if there is anything they don't feel 100% sure and safe doing (like working up a ladder or using certain tools...). It's all common sense but we feel better when it's clear from the outset,

  Il y a la possibilité de garer le camping car à 500m de la maison, où 4 ou 5 voitures peuvent se garer. Mais c'est un endroit calme à la sortie du village
