  Beschreibung

  We are a small family living on a beautiful island in Sumatra, Indonesia, surrounded by waves, jungle, and a peaceful rhythm of life.
  
  In terms of help, we’re looking for around 5 hours per day in total:
  
  2–3 hours a day with our child (playing, exploring, discovering the world together).
  Around 1-2 hour helping with simple daily tasks around the house (laundry, light cleaning, kitchen, general tidying).
  So some days you will help around 3 hours/day, and another days, maximum 5 hours/day.
  
  The day usually starts early (around 6am), and before midday you’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy your time: perfect for someone who wants to surf, rest, read, or simply live close to nature without needing much city life or external entertainment.
  
  In return, we offer a truly special experience: living on a remote island surrounded by nature, with time to disconnect, learn, and immerse yourself in a different culture. You’ll have your own room (sometimes private, occasionally shared with our yoga teacher), enjoy fresh meals every day, surf in a world-class waves, and have access to yoga, gym, pool, and beach. You’ll also be part of a vibrant surf camp, meeting new people from all over the world every week.

  We offer a unique opportunity to experience life on a remote island in Indonesia, surrounded by jungle and ocean. You’ll be immersed in the local Mentawai culture, with chances to connect with the community and learn Bahasa Indonesia in a natural, everyday way.
  
  Accommodation is provided in a shared room, along with meals or shared meals with locals at the local kitchen (we do have 3 kitchen, the surfcamp kitchen, the local kitchen, and the kitchen at home where you can also cook for your self if you want, a beautiful way to experience the culture through food.
  
  We have strong WiFi, so you can continue working remotely if needed.
  
  There’s lots of free time to surf, relax, or explore the islands at your own pace.
  
  This is a simple and authentic experience, perfect for someone who values nature, cultural exchange, and a slower rhythm of life.
  
  
  We offer a unique experience in a remote paradise with some of the best surf in the world.

  We’re looking for around 3-5 hours of help per day: 2–3 hours in the morning with our child (playing and exploring), and 1-2 hours helping with simple household tasks (laundry, light cleaning, kitchen, tidying).
  
  
  We start early (around 6-7am), and by midday you’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy your time 😊

  Shared Room in Triple Male Shared Lodge or Shared Room in Twin Female Room + all meals included, transports once you are in the islands and surf, as well as yoga and gym/pool facilities.
