  We live in Carinthia, right on Lake Ossiach – one of Austria's most beautiful lakes. Surrounded by mountains, it offers countless opportunities for hiking, swimming, or simply enjoying nature. In summer, the atmosphere feels like a holiday every day.
  
  A perfect day here could start with a bike ride to the "Finsterbach" waterfalls, continue to Landskron to visit the Affenberg (Austria’s only free-roaming monkey enclosure) then head to Ossiach for a swim in the lake or a relaxed SUP session. In the evening, you can join a bird-watching tour in the Bleistätter Moor, one of Carinthia’s most important habitats for birds and biodiversity.
  
  One of my personal highlights in Austria is the Zotter Chocolate Factory, about a two-hour drive from our home. It’s absolutely worth a visit (or two 😉) – I honestly don’t think you’ll find anything else in the world that comes closer to Charlie’s Chocolate Factory 😅. Another must-do when you’re here: a paragliding tandem flight with us, since we are both instructors.
  
  In summer, we spend a lot of time at the landing zone. It’s not just a field but a lively meeting point where people from all over the world come together to share their love for flying and summer. Of course, if you prefer something quieter, you can always enjoy the peace by the lake instead.
  
  We love cooking (when we actually find the time 😅), eating together, and spending time outdoors. You’ll have your own room in our house and share the rest of the apartment with us. For getting around, there’s a moped and bicycles available, and we can also help organize a car if you want to take longer trips.
  
  Who are we?
  Leo is my boyfriend, a Colombian paragliding pilot whose dream of competing in professional acrobatic paragliding brought him to Austria 10 years ago. And me – I’m a 29-year-old Austrian. I spent a few years away for my studies, but the magic of these mountains and the joy of flying brought me back home. You’ll probably also meet my dad and stepmother, who live in the same house in a separate apartment with their own entrance.

  We usually eat together, and I enjoy sharing meals. You will also get an insight into the paragliding world, since I am flying almost every day and our local community is very international. If you are interested, you can learn about paragliding, join a tandem flight or even try your first flights.
  
  Through the paragliding scene here, you will meet people from many different countries and cultures. I really value this exchange and hope to create a place where you also feel part of this unique community.

  Arbeit

  I'm mainly looking for support with cooking. Because of my work I spend most of the day flying (paragliding), and often I don’t find the time or energy to prepare proper meals. Sometimes I even end up skipping food. It would be a big help if you could take care of preparing dinner and maybe breakfast, and also keeping the fridge stocked with small snacks. I think it would be around 2–4 hours per day. 5 days a week

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own cozy and private room in the attic with a double bed, table, chairs, sofa, and wardrobe. Our apartment is on the first floor, where you can use the kitchen, bathroom, and all common spaces. The hallway is shared with a holiday apartment that we rent out to guests :)
  
  Since you will be mainly responsible for cooking, please note that we are vegetarians. Apart from that, we will provide all groceries or money for buying food.
