Ya tiene varios años desde que hice este workaway con Estel y Mireia (en el 2018). Y hasta ahorita (2024) estoy escribiendo un feedback, pero nunca es tarde para decir lo especial que fue esta experiencia para mi.
Estel fue una persona muy respetuosa, paciente y acogedora cuando estuve ahí. Me encantó poder conocer el pequeño pueblo de Olot, que
… read more de otra forma seguro jamas lo habria conocido. Es bello y está muy cerca de otros pueblos muy bonitos. Extraño escuchar como hablan catalán, es un idioma muy bonito. Y extraño temprano en las mañanas al despertar como se veía a los lejos montañas con nieve encima, preciosos paisajes.
Yo estuve en total como mes y medio, me acuerdo que me enferme muy feo del estómago y Estel me dejó quedarme más tiempo y cuidó de mí siempre. Ayudé con su jardín, pintando dentro de la casa y en la limpieza. Seguido acompañaba a Estel a lugares muy bonitos y en una ocasión visité la escuela en donde es maestra, lo recuerdo con mucho cariño. En fin, mi experiencia fue única y tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón. Estoy muy agradecida de haber podido conocer a personas tan amables y lindas como Estel. Agradezco toda la ayuda y amor que me brindó.

… read more walk around the lake in Banyoles and for a walk in the forrest that leads to the volcano in Olot.

Estel and Mireia (her daughter) are ones among the most nice, kind and lovely persons I ever met. I was so lucky to share three weeks with them at their lovely place, a very nice, cozy, shiny, clean and confortable home in the beautifully quiet city of Olot. We were also living with another person, a volunteer in Mireia's school, and we all felt

We used to enjoy a lot of time together, talking a lot about several different but always interesting things, as we cooked extremely healty food everyday, gather in the living room during evenings while lighting the fireplace, to have some nice conversations, playing games with her child while all were lying on the floor, watching some movies, and mostly building together a lot of special moments to be enjoyed then and remembered for lifetime. Estel is an amazing woman, very funny, easygoing and relaxed, but at the same time she cares a lot about you to feel enormously confortable during your time there and enjoy the most you can. We went to near cities and towns as daytrips, to see some beautiful outdoors and landscapes, little towns that came out from a tale and ancient old misterious castles. All near Olot and surroundings places of the region of La Garrotxa have stunning scenarios that worth see live.
