  Hi!
  
  My name is Chris, I'm 32 and currently building my own home!
  
  I'm very active and adventurous. I like running, hiking, walking, going to the beach, and just enjoying time outdoors in general. As I'm currently building a home, I would love some help but also some company - cool / like-minded people to hang out with during the evenings and share a meal with would be perfect. Ideally, this would be for 1-2 people. Being clean and tidy is a must! I am looking for someone happy to help me out with some general labour on a house build and / or assist with home related tasks if at home (such as cooking, cleaning, etc).
  
  I also love travelling, and love chatting with people from different cultures and swapping travel stories. I am based on Lamb Island, a small island about an hours drive (and short ferry ride) from Brisbane. There is public transport around but getting around can be a little tricky, so I would be happy to do some day trips to some popular close by destinations like Brisbane and the Gold Coast to show you my favourite spots!
  
  Lamb Island is part of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands which are located less than one hour from Brisbane, or two hours via public transport. Its also not too far from the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast! The island itself is very small and peaceful with a small population. However, transport from Lamb Island to the other Moreton Bay Islands is free, making it a great way to explore the other islands as well (Macleay, Karragarra and Russell)!
  
  I can offer provided meals and free accomodation (room with shared bathroom). As mentioned, more than happy to show you some of the beautiful spots QLD has to offer too, as I grew up here!

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Lamb Island is part of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, and required a short passanger ferry ride to access. However, the ferries run frequently and buses / trains connect the ferry terminal on the mainland to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Lamb Island is great location if you're okay with a quiet location to base yourself from during your travels.
  
  I enjoy travelling and meeting others from different cultures. When I have time on days off, I would be more than happy to take your to explore the Gold Coast and Brisbane on days off to show you some of the best beaches (Gold Coast) or main sites in Brisbane City. Alternatively, I can provide you with some suggested places to visit if I can't take you myself.
  
  About me:
  I am 32 and an electrician by trade and currently building a house. I can teach you some building skills (much of it I learn on it as the go myself!), so no experience is required. I love the outdoors (beach, snorkelling, hiking, etc), and would be happy to share some adventures and show you the best places to visit!
  
  I would prefer to host open-minded travellers happy to help out with differing tasks on the build or around the home, and share evening meals together.

  Arbeit

  Most days I am working on my house build. However, I won't require help all the time.
  
  The average day might include helping me out with some chores around the house (washing, cooking or cleaning), or helping me for a few hours on the build. On the build, I'll likely need a second person for something particular (carrying something, for example), so some strength and physical fitness will be required.
  
  However, experience with tools or working on a construction site isn't necessary, I can teach you some new skills on the go if required.

  Unterkunft

  Private room (or 2 private rooms if there are two of you) in a house shared with a shared bathroom. House is shared with one other person (me).
  
  Workawayers will be provided with three meals per day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast will be a fruit and cereal option, while lunch and dinner will both be cooked.
  
  There will also be additional snacks available in the house.
