  Hi! It's me, my husband Alberto, our 12-year-old daughters Noemi and 10-year-old Rebecca and our dog Sam (a 3-year-old Golden Retriever). We live and work in a beautiful farmhouse in the countryside surrounded by nature between vineyards, olive trees and woods and we always have many things to do at home and in the garden. We often host foreign guests in our b&b and it is very important for us and our daughters to meet people from different countries and cultures to compare and grow. We love traveling and sharing experiences and being with young people (we often host camps for children or teenagers or university groups or scout groups), we love music (Rebecca plays the piano and is learning to play the ukulele), sports, the outdoors and beautiful relationships. Our house is always open for our friends and our daughters and collaborators who often pass by here like Omar, a boy from Chad who helps us with the work in the fields, Puc, a retired bricklayer, Massimo, a gruff farmer with a heart of gold or Augusto, an 80-year-old who teaches us the secrets of the garden.
  
  It's a meeting place, beauty and serenity!

  Ciao! Siamo io, mio marito Alberto, le nostre figlie Noemi di 12 anni e Rebecca di 10 anni e il nostro cane Sam (un Golden Retriever di 3 anni). Viviamo e lavoriamo in un bellissimo casale in campagna circondato dalla natura fra vigna, ulivi e bosco e abbiamo sempre tante cose da fare in casa e in giardino. Spesso ospitiamo nel nostro b&b ospiti stranieri ed è molto importante per noi e per le nostre figlie incontrare persone di paesi e culture differenti per confrontarci e crescere. Amiamo viaggiare e condividere le esperienze e stare con i giovani (ospitiamo spesso camp per bambini o adolescenti o gruppi universitari o gruppi scout), amiamo la musica (Rebecca suona il piano e sta imparando a suonare l'ukulele), lo sport, l'aria aperta e le belle relazioni. La nostra casa è sempre aperta per gli amici nostri e delle nostre figlie e i collaboratori che passano spesso di qui come Omar, un ragazzo del Ciad che ci aiuta con i lavori nei campi, Puc, un muratore in pensione tuttofare, Massimo, burbero contadino dal cuore d'oro o Augusto, vispo 80enne che ci insegna i segreti dell'orto.
  E' un luogo di incontri, bellezza e serenità!

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We are interested in speaking English (my husband and Noemi also German and Rebecca Spanish) and teaching Italian. We hope to improve in languages but also to learn and teach different habits (such as cooking or doing other things) or exchanging manual, musical or artistic skills. Alberto, my husband, is a historian and has culture to share, in these years in the countryside I have learned many agricultural notions and to do every kind of work in nature or small DIY or housework, Noemi and Rebecca are enthusiastic girls with a great desire to have bigger examples from which to learn or with whom to sing, play or dance, and Sam... is always looking for cuddles or someone who wants to play with him!
  
  We are connected with the Scout Community of Castel San Pietro Terme and with Caritas.
  
  Siamo interessati a parlare inglese (mio marito e Noemi anche tedesco e Rebecca spagnolo) e a insegnare l'italiano. Speriamo di migliorare nelle lingue ma anche di imparare e insegnare abitudini diverse (come cucinare o fare altre cose) o scambiare capacità manuali, musicali o artistiche. Alberto, mio marito, è uno storico è ha cultura da condividere, io in questi anni in campagna ho imparato tante nozioni agricole e a fare ogni tipo di lavoro nella natura o piccoli lavoretti di bricolage o casalinghi, Noemi e Rebecca sono delle ragazze entusiaste con tanta voglia di avere esempi più grandi dai quali imparare o con i quali cantare, suonare o ballare, e Sam... è sempre in cerca di coccole o qualcuno che abbia voglia di giocare con lui!
  Siamo collegati con la Comunità Scout di Castel San Pietro Terme e con la Caritas.

  Arbeit

  Workawayers can help us in many ways, also depending on the time of year:
  
  - stay with our daughters speaking in English (or German with Noemi) or take our dog for a walk;
  
  - keep the house or outdoor spaces in order, for example by sweeping the terrace or collecting leaves and branches;
  
  - in spring/summer collect the fruits of nature or the products of the garden;
  
  - in autumn/winter help us collect the vineyard's trams to make garlands;
  
  - make small DIY tasks with wood or decorate;
  
  - sometimes cook.
  
  - help us with technology and social media like Instagram by taking photos and videos of their experience and posting stories.
  
  We initially do all these things together by sharing time and skills and then we see how to proceed, if the workawayer feels like doing them slowly alone.
  
  I Workawayer ci possono aiutare in tanti modi, anche a seconda del periodo dell'anno:
  - stare con le nostre figlie parlando in inglese (o tedesco con Noemi) o portare il nostro cane a fare una passeggiata;
  - tenere in ordine la casa o gli spazi esterni, per esempio spazzando il terrazzo o raccogliendo foglie e rami;
  - in primavere/estate raccogliere i frutti della natura o i prodotti dell'orto;
  - in autunno/inverno aiutarci a raccogliere i tralci della vigna per fare ghirlande;
  - fare piccoli lavoretti di bricolage con il legno o decorare;
  - talvolta cucinare.
  - aiutarci con la tecnologia e i social come Instagram facendo foto e video della loro esperienza e pubblicando storie.
  Tutte queste cose le facciamo inizialmente insieme condividendo il tempo e le competenze e poi vediamo come procedere, se il workawayer se la sente di farle pian piano da solo.

  Unterkunft

  We offer an independent single room with a bed, table, TV, mini kitchen and fridge with private bathroom with shower. The Workawayer can make breakfast and lunch alone (we provide drinks and food) while dinner is all together in the family.
  
  Offriamo una stanza singola indipendente con un letto, tavolo, TV, minicucina e frigo con bagno privato con doccia. Il Workawayer può fare la colazione e il pranzo da solo (forniamo noi bevande e cibo) mentre la cena è tutti insieme in famiglia.

  Was noch ...

  In their free time, workawayers can go for a walk or run through the hills or around with their own car, by bus (the bus stop is a 20-minute walk away) or by train to reach Bologna (15 minutes by train) or Imola (10 minutes by train) or other cities nearby. The station is 10 minutes away by car (sometimes we can take them) or 45 minutes on foot. The surroundings can also be explored by bike (mountain bikes or e-bikes, but we don't provide them, they must eventually have their own or rent it). On weekends they can also go by train to the sea on the Romagna Riviera.
  
  House rules:
  
  It is absolutely forbidden to smoke in the house, but you can smoke in the garden.
  
  Keep the room tidy and clean, throw out the trash, ventilate the bathroom.
  
  We do the most thorough cleaning and the change of linen once a week or every two weeks by agreeing.
  
  We ask you to lower the voice and volume of smartphones or TVs etc. from 10 pm to 8 am.
  
  Use the common areas in respect of the guests of the b&b or private parties.
  
  It is possible to invite friends by agreeing with us.
  
  We have free wi-fi, it works well for smartphones, but it is not very powerful and works a little less well with laptops or long jobs.
  
  In the morning we meet around 8/8.30 and in the evening we say goodbye around 22.
  
  The work together or independently can be done mainly in the morning from 9 to 13 approximately, or sometimes in the afternoon depending on the months and needs (in summer it could be done in the cooler hours of the morning and then in the late afternoon).
  
  Nel tempo libero i workawayer possono andare a camminare o a correre fra le colline o in giro con la propria auto, con il bus (la fermata dell'autobus è a 20 minuti a piedi) o con il treno per raggiungere Bologna (15 minuti di treno) o Imola (10 minuti di treno) o altre città qui vicino. La stazione è a 10 minuti di auto (talvolta possiamo accompagnarli noi) o a 45 minuti a piedi. I dintorni si possono anche esplorare in bici (mountain bike o e-bike, ma noi non le diamo in dotazione, eventualmente devono avere la propria o noleggiarla). Nel week end possono anche andare in treno al mare sulla riviera romagnola.
  
  Regole della casa:
  E' assolutamente vietato fumare in casa, ma si può fumare in giardino.
  Tenere in ordine e pulita la camera , buttare la spazzatura, arieggiare il bagno.
  Le pulizie più approfondite e il cambio della biancheria le facciamo poi noi una volta a settimana o ogni due settimane mettendoci d'accordo.
  Chiediamo di abbassare la voce e il volume di smartphone o TV ecc dalle 22 alle 8.
  Utilizzare gli spazi comuni nel rispetto degli ospiti del b&b o di feste private.
  E' possibile invitare amici concordandolo con noi.
  Abbiamo il wi-fi gratuito, funziona bene per gli smartphone, ma non è molto potente e funziona un po' meno bene con laptop o lavori lunghi.
  
  La mattina ci vediamo intorno alle 8/8.30 e la sera ci salutiamo verso le 22 circa.
  Il lavoro insieme o in autonomia può essere svolto soprattutto la mattina dalle 9 alle 13 circa, o talvolta il pomeriggio a seconda dei mesi e delle esigenze (in estate potrebbe essere svolto nelle ore più fresche della mattina e poi nel tardo pomeriggio).
