  Hello,
  
  We are Kika an Nuno the parents, S and A the 16 and 11 years old kids + Mel and Tobias the dogs + Chiquita and Patinhas the cats.
  
  We live in Sintra, by the sea and have always unscooled the kids no school, no school at home. No limiits on tv, sugar and so on so we can't b3 considered a "grabola", "bio"? "free screan" family.
  
  We do try to eat organic, one of us is vegetarian, the other one does keto diet and one is sceliac, the only one that eats everything loves parkour and healthy life-style so you we tend to eat super healthy altogether and i really, really would love to have an hand in the kitchen :)
  
  We have a small garden that grows alone, anyone that loves plants is welcome.
  
  We live by the beach and try to take the dogs there everyday. In the summer before 8 am and after 7pm, sept to June, it can be anytime.
  
  Crafts, painting, singing dancing, gymnastics, Acrobacias... everything that involves movement and creativity is welcome to A. She is learning english and likes to be read aloud in Portuguese.
  
  Parcour, hiking, visiting new spots by walking/ bus/ train is what you will do if you go out with S. Sintra, Cascais, Ericeira, Lisboa are all reacheable by public transports. S is learning Darija and French.
  
  Kika travels a lot with or without the kids, someone to stay in the hose an give Nuno an hand will be very appreciated.
  
  P.s. we can only accept families if you have your own car and plan to spend time exploring Portugal/ not always at home. Just one wc, to many kids, 24/7 can be to much for everyone.
  
  If it is to housesit, families are super welcome to stay fit.
  
  Please, if one of you is handy with reparations, help us with all our unfinished projects.

  We can help with learning:
  - portuguese
  - A few nigths in Lisbon, in a students residence, if there are free rooms.
  - Food - frugal, not fancy.
  - free time to explore the area
  - free entrance in museums, pool, castles and all the activities we do together
  - accommodation in the places were we have or rent houses (not in hotels if we end up in one)
  In sintra there is a surf school that can pick you at home and will take you to different beaches in the area. They provide all the materials.
  
  I'm not wating for 5 hours a day of work. Maybe it is 10 hours one day, because we started tending to the garden an don't want to stop and 0 hours in the next day, because you want to rest, or go out. Se see it day by day.

  Arbeit

  We like to receive travellers as we receive family members. We ask you to take 2 or 3 days just to be with us and adapt to the house, our rhythms, walk to the sea, know the village, the pets.... and see where you can help.
  
  Please be proactive. I can't charge my mental load with creating to do lists to give to the workawayers. As we say at the rainbow gatherings: do you something that can be donne better? Do it! There is something wrong? Fix it! :)

  We have good WiFi connection. Let us know your working hours in advance and no one will disturb you during that time. Me mindful that if rhe children are at home, they are noisy.

  Platz zum Abstellen von Camper Vans

  The van can stay at our door, in the driveway and the house can be used as a base. There are almost no cars in the street and the woods are less than one minute walking, the van can also stay there. If you come as a family, with a van, please, help us with all the "handy man projects" that we left unfinished :)
