  Estamos ubicados a 15 minutos del terminal de transporte de Santa Marta, a sólo 10 minutos del casco urbano de la ciudad, disfrutando del servicio de transporte público a una distancia aproximada de 3 kilómetros.
  
  Somos líderes sociales campesinos organizados a través de nuestra Junta de Acción Comunal de nuestro barrio Buenos Aires de Santa Marta. Somos líderes sociales, campesinos con el compromiso social de trabajar por nuestro sustento de manera ambientalmente sustentable y con la responsabilidad social de brindar conocimientos y otros beneficios a nuestras comunidades campesinas a través de la educación ambiental para que tengamos una sana convivencia con nuestro entorno, con las especies que habitan los maravillosos ecosistemas de bosque seco tropical, bosque espinoso, bosque húmedo y ecosistemas acuáticos y marinos alrededor de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
  
  Realizamos actividades de educación ambiental y jornadas de siembra, recolección de residuos y reforestación de circuitos hídricos y conservación de fuentes hídricas, todas estas actividades se realizan sin fines de lucro.
  
  Solicitamos a los huéspedes y visitantes certificar o adquirir un seguro médico presente en el territorio que incluya servicio de ambulancia para su recepción en nuestro hogar, lo anterior como prevención ante cualquier situación que requiera atención médica inmediata, traslado en ambulancia el cual es de vital importancia para nosotros poder garantizarlo dado que estamos ubicados en zonas rurales y el servicio de transporte público más cercano se encuentra a 3 kilómetros aproximadamente. Por nuestra parte, nos dotamos de todo el equipamiento para prestar primeros auxilios ante cualquier emergencia, entre los que contamos con camilla de emergencia, botiquín, detectores de humo, extintores, alarmas sonoras con una doble finalidad para solicitar ayuda y ahuyentar felinos presentes en la zona o ante cualquier situación de riesgo.

  Adicionalmente podrán participar en actividades de educación ambiental en instituciones educativas rurales como parte del Colectivo de Hogar Primavera Verano, participar en jornadas de limpieza de ecosistemas acuáticos, marinos, de montaña, de bosque seco tropical, jornadas de siembra de especies nativas, en estas actividades poder interactuar con campesinos, nativos, locales y extranjeros que participan en el voluntariado por causas sociales y ambientales de las diferentes organizaciones con las que nos aliamos para el cuidado y conservación de los ecosistemas alrededor de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
  
  Formo parte de la comunidad de gestores culturales de la Biblioteca del Banco de la República y estoy informado de las diferentes actividades culturales que se desarrollan en el Centro Histórico y otros escenarios de importancia histórica, turística, cultural y ecológica de nuestra región.

La habitación es compartida con otros voluntarios, dependerá de la disponibilidad de camas en la habitación. Sábanas, almohadas, mantas limpias. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado. Si los voluntarios quieren más privacidad pueden quedarse en las tiendas de campaña. Tenemos disponibles, en total son seis tiendas de campaña. Las tiendas de campaña para dos personas cuentan con colchones, sábanas, almohadas y mantas, las hamacas para una persona al aire libre en el interior, con manta y almohada. También es posible alojarse en el salón sobre colchonetas o colchones hinchables, provistos de sábanas, almohadas y mantas. Un baño dentro de la casa y un baño fuera. Cocina con estufa de gas, también disponemos de fogón de leña en el exterior para preparar alimentos con leña. Terraza abierta con vista a la montaña y terraza con bar y vista al bosque y la ciudad.   Son tres perros rescatados de la calle, no tenían hogar, desconozco sus fechas de nacimiento pero el más joven es Rocky, le sigue en tamaño Toby y la más grande es Princesa. Me falta una buena foto con Toby y Rocky. Ellos nos colaboran en nuestro hogar, ahuyentan animales que pueden ser peligrosos para nuestros animales de granja y también avisan de la presencia de otras personas. No son agresivos, luego de un par de días son amigables.
