  Hi there! We are a young family of 3. My name is Elisabetta and my kids are Eva Luna (7 yo) and Ernesto (5).
  
  We usually host workawayers to help us with English learning, babysitting and work on summer camps or at my English school, but right now we are looking for workawayers who are willing to spend time in the unpolluted Salento countryside. My brother and I own a beautiful piece of land 5 minutes bike ride from our town, Scorrano, and we started to make it a livable place: we started planting trees and building a traditional stonewall, thanks to the know-how of one of our friends who is teaching us. Would you like to learn too?
  
  About us and our past experiences as hosts:
  
  I lived in London for a few years before I had the kids, so I'm fluent in English. I teach English at State Schools but I also manage (and teach at) a private English School teaching all age groups. We use a non-formal and task-based teaching approach. We organized a three-weeks English-speaking Summer Camp last June. Thanks to workaway, we had a great team of native English people. Some of them were friends we met through workaway over the last few years and some others were new volunteers. We had 40 kids so it was a very challenging experience, but also a successful and fun one.

  We have a dog and two cats, in case someone is allergic.

  Salento is a little paradise in the South of Italy. We have sun, beaches, culture, lots of festivals and a delicious cuisine. It's worth spending some time of your life here!

  At the moment, we are looking for volunteers who can help my brother with gardening and the stonewall. If there is not a lot of work to do on the field, you may be expected to spend time with my kids and nephews, or help around the house.

  Unterkunft

  You will stay at my brother's who lives upstairs from me. He has a private guest room and a shared bathroom.
  
  We will have our main meals together.
  
  If we are having dinner out, you are more than welcome to join but you will pay for your food.

  Was noch ...

  We live in a picturesque little town known as "la capitale delle luminarie". Just google it and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about! There is no train station but there is one in a neighboring town, 10 mins bike ride from our house. You will have a bicycle for yourself if you need it. We live right in the centre of the town, literally round the corner from the main square.
