****We are looking for a workawayer for July and August 2023***
A female Workawayer is more suited to the position as there are some childcare duties.
We are looking for someone to help keep the house clean, gardening, house maintenance and some childcare.
We are a married couple with a 8 year old and a 3 year old. We have been hosting Workawayers since 2011. We enjoy showing people our part of rural Ireland and Irish culture as well as learning about other countries and of course getting help with chores! We are currently looking for a workawayer to help us in the garden, with childcare and around the house.

We would like help with: house maintenance, cleaning, gardening, cutting grass, weeding, strimming, hedgetrimming,and painting etc
Building walls, raised beds, woodcutting, fencing, paving and general out door projects around our home.

Unterkunft
Guest bedroom and own bathroom. Meals with the family are provided and also use of the kitchen in exchange for 25 hours help. Help with cooking and cleaning up after meals is expected.
We also assist our workawayers in making travel arrangements to see other parts of Ireland.
Was noch ...
We have had a great experience with Workaway since 2011. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about their countries and we also enjoy showing people our Irish culture and for them to get a broad flavour of Ireland from their travelling experience. The work is not too hard normally but we would expect 25 hours per week. We will help with organising weekends away from here (Galway/Dublin) and advise on locations to visit etc. We are centrally located and will help with dropping off and collecting people from the train/bus stops.
There are a number of good hikes and cycle routes nearby in the Slieve Bloom mountains, Boora Parklands and River Shannon
A basic level of English for visiting Workawayers is desirable and we will try and help with improving English also if required.
