  Hello! We are a Canadian family in beautiful Victoria, BC. We have a 11 years old boy and 8.5 year old girl. Their mother has passed away recently due to cancer and I'm looking for long term help for helping with their care (meals, driving to nearby activities - they can walk to school). Grandparents live close by and will help with some of the care as well. I have to travel a lot for work so I'm looking for an anchor, reliable, longer term person to help with the kids. I'm looking for at least several moths to over a year of availability - please DO NOT request for short term! Thanks.
  We mostly eat vegetarian and eggs with occasional fish. You will not be expected to prepare any meat dishes if you that's not your thing but I occasionally would do sausages in pasta or a chicken curry - again not neccesary. We are in a large house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to both children's schools, soccer fields, a cute coffee shop, parks, beach, and hiking areas. You will have your own room and mostly private bathroom (kids may use it when they both decide to go at the same time!). You will have access to other private areas in the house as well where you can work/yoga/exercise etc. We can discuss other aspects like groceries, vehicle access etc. as well as travelling with them in winter to San Diego.

  Arbeit

  I'm looking for childcare help for my two children ages 3.5 and 6. The care would mostly be for the 3.5 year old on the days she's not in preschool as my 6 year old is in school, but occasional care for for him as well would be required on days he has off school when I am working. Also some days school pickups would be required.
