Giorgia is a really nice person, easy going and worker. We couldn’t spend lot of time together but the time we were together was worth it. My experience with her was very Good so I highly recommend her. Thanks for everything
I spent 11 days at Oier's and had a very nice time there. His finca is located in amazing place in the middle of the nature, 30 min walking from the nearest village. Great view on the ocean and on some mountains (30/40 minutes far on foot). Keep in mind that it takes a while to go around the island if you don't have a car because the buses are not
… read more so many. Every now and then Oier offers you some lifts to the places he's going to,which could be a good option,too.
The work at the finca was pleasant. Oier made a list of tasks to do and we could choose the ones we preferred. The other volunteer and I had the opportunity to paint a wall and to plant some plants. All in a very friendly and relaxed environment. Oier is very flexible with the working hours so you can organise the work as you prefer.
The 2 cats and 2 dogs are very lovely,too(Paco eres mi fav,ya sabes!). Such a pity we couldn't spend more time with Oier because he was often busy because of his 2 works or other personal plans.

The place is very exotic, I loved it.
Oier is really nice and accommodating.
There are 2 cats and 2 dogs in the finca.
Unfortunately, I broke my clavicula during the first days, so I wasnt able to enjoy as much as I wanted.
But it was a good experience anyway!

It was a very positive experience and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see what problems the locals are facing rather than just visiting the island as a tourist. Oier also gave us the full experience with recommendations and stories and everything, he is a really heart-warming, down-to-earth person with whom you can have amazing chats and just vibes by hanging out. Would definitely repeat and offer to others.

Speaking of work, during our time there, we helped Oier with gardening and with building a fence and a tiny table with a nice view on the ocean. The work itself felt really good, it generally was a cool experience after sitting in an office for years.
The island is beautiful as well I recommend it for the ones who loves outdoor activites.

The working hours are not heavy and the activities you can do are really many and different. In addition, you'll have your flexibility in managing working hours according to your needs.
And what about the host? Well Oier is simply the best. From day one, he welcomed us with open arms and gave us complete confidence. He is very open, helpful, respectful, always ready to give you a hand in case of difficulties. With him you can talk, work well, but above you can laugh!
And its animals are the purest. I could not mention the two sweetest dogs ever, Osa and Cito, or the two special cats, Paco and Arturo, as well as, of course, all his chickens!
Whether this is your first, last, third or fiftieth workaway, I highly recommend Oier's finca.

The work we had to do was really cool and Oier was easy-going, even letting us picking the tasks. Mainly it was digging and planting, but it felt more like fun teamwork than actual work.
The Only thing to consider is that it is really hard to get around the island without a car, so renting one will make live a lot easier.

His English is also very advanced and he is very fluent, which was really practical because I don’t speak Spanish. He is very flexible with the working days and hours. I helped planting Petayas, helped with the manure, picked up wood, walked the dogs, continued the walls of rocks but there is a list of tasks where you can choose the tasks from, so there are various options. I also loved connecting with the other workawayers and doing lots of activities on the island with them! The location of the finca is really nice because it’s near the ocean and a volcano and I loved working with this view! There are also two dogs and cats living there and they have such beautiful characters and I loved cuddling them :)) I totally recommend this experience on this beautiful island!! Otherwise, Oier is very nice, speaks good English, even if he does not know all the exact words and is not afraid to pick you up from the airport, take you on his trips to other cities or take you to concerts, parties and meetings with friends.
What is unfortunately not so positive is that there is no wifi, the nearest bus stop and supermarket is half an hour walk up a mountain and it was unfortunately inconvenient on my departure day with all my many luggage to went all the way alone to the port.
