Beschreibung
We are an Anglo-Dutch couple who have retired to Andalucia. Spain and live about 45 km. north of Granada with our two 6 year old dogs.Our children are adults and live in other countries, so duties are not likely to include care of children.
Our house has nice views and is situated on the outskirts of Mures a village with > 800 inhabitants at an altitude of 836 m. There is a bus stop only 50 m. away, a bank, a council office, a library, a general store, a chemist, a Drs. surgery and 2 bars (one is a summer restaurant with terrace and BBQ. at 200 m.) The nearest (and attractive ) town is Alcala la Real at 14 km.
My name is Valerie and I still work part time from our home as a sport+relaxation massage therapist. My husband Miel was an export manager in glasshouses which meant that we lived and worked abroad for various contracts and therefore developed tolerant and multi-cultural personalities and cuisine.
We are looking for one person or an established couple . We do NOT want arguing teenagers .Although we are both in our 70s we are definately NOT looking for ¨care for the elderly ¨ but hope to enoy an exchange of cultures from like-minded workawayers.

We are a bi-lingual family-speaking both English and Dutch in the house.Miel is also fluent in German, and we both try to learn Spanish. Clients for the massage practice are both English and Spanish locals, so there will be plenty of opportunities for language practice and cultural exchange.
Arbeit
Our 3 bedroom house is on a plot of approx. 560 m2 with sheds, 7 fruit trees, raised planters for vegetables (recycled pallets) and flower borders. We would love some help with any of the following : general maintenance of garden and gravel paths, repainting of the sheds, planters, boundary walls : pickling/preserving of any fruit/vegetables in season and maybe some interior decorating. We are very flexible as we hope that you are.

Unterkunft
In return we offer up to 2 double bedrooms with own shower/toilet separate from ours. Food/drink is no problem since we can include dietary needs if required, but prefer not to have strict vegan or vegetarian diet requirements. There is Wifi available (also a monitor) and a BBQ area. You are welcome to live an integrated life with us or have your own personal space.

Granada is of course of special interest with the famous Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountain range and ski resort nearby. Other attractions are the Cave houses and Flamenco . We have a full range of maps and details available and will try to make your stay with us as pleasurable as possible. Cordoba, Seville, Madrid and of course Granada are all available through the cheap and efficient bus services.
