Description
Within the Regional Natural Park of Vercors, in the French Alps, we have with my sons (17 and 20 years old) a small farm and a house under construction. Concerned about our animals, sheep, pigs, dogs, cows, horses... our amount of work has increased in recent years. We really need a hand with storage, DIY and construction projects on the farm, help at home, gardening .... There is room for different profiles but our budgets being very limited, DIY geniuses are welcome.
Au sein du Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors, dans les Alpes Françaises, nous possédons avec mes fils (17 et 20 ans) une petite ferme et une maison en travaux. Soucieux de nos animaux, brebis, cochons, chiens, vaches, chevaux... notre quantité de travail a augmenté ces dernières années. Nous avons bien besoin d'un coup de main pour du rangement, du bricolage et projets de construction à la ferme, de l'aide à la maison, jardinage .... Il y a de la place pour différents profils mais nos budgets étant très limités, les génies bricoleurs sont bienvenus.

Family a little noisy because many young people but friendly. Wonderful landscapes. Discovery of organic mountain farming. Important associative life in the sector.

Help
With us, everyone participates in setting the table, clearing, doing the dishes... No one who knows how to adapt to our somewhat disjointed pace of life. Ability to cook welcome (we are not picky - meat eating family). Storage, DIY, gardening, wood... depending on the needs of the moment. Construction work if you have skills.
Chez nous, tout le monde participe à mettre la table, débarrasser, faire la vaisselle... Personne sachant s'adapter à notre rythme de vie un peu décousu. Capacité à faire à manger bienvenue (nous ne sommes pas difficiles - famille mangeuse de viande). Rangement, bricolage, jardinage, bois ... selon les besoins du moment. Travaux de construction si vous avez des compétences.

Accommodation
Logement en tente possible à la ferme ou dans le jardin l'été. Van ok. Éventuellement d'autres possibilités de logement mais seulement si la place n'est pas déjà occupée par des mineurs en apprentissage. Préférence non fumeur (ou fumeur respectueux). Nous nous couchons tôt car nos journées à la ferme démarrent de bonne heure.
Tent accommodation possible on the farm or in the garden in summer. Van ok. Possibly other accommodation possibilities but only if the place is not already occupied by minors in apprenticeship. Preferably non-smoker (or respectful smoker). We go to bed early because our days on the farm start early.

We have been welcoming ecotourism, hosting volunteers or agricultural school for 15 years to discover agriculture.
