This is more than just a regenerative project; it is a dynamic and evolving rotational community space that bridges ecological stewardship, personal growth, and community living. Nestled in the Alentejo region, we are situated in one of Europe’s driest areas—a place of both beauty and challenge, where the land teaches us daily about resilience, adaptability, and harmony.

Our mission is rooted in co-creating a space where humans, animals, and nature can thrive together. By embracing radical responsibility, we empower individuals to step into a deeper understanding of their own potential and their impact on the world around them. This serves as a bridge between what is and what could be—a space where regenerative systems, holistic practices, and intentional living intersect.

This is more than just a place to "volunteer." It’s a space to grow, learn, and embrace challenges that lead to meaningful transformation. Whether it’s stewarding the land, engaging in community systems, or navigating the dynamics of communal living while working through personal triggers, every experience here is an opportunity for profound growth and connection.

As a hub for regeneration and alignment with a deeper purpose, this space holds immense potential to inspire both personal and collective transformation. However, it’s important to understand that this is not a space where healing is done for you. Instead, it invites active participation, co-creation, and co-facilitation. While we don’t claim to "heal anyone," this space offers powerful ground for healing to unfold for those who are ready to embrace the journey.

To transform ourselves and the land requires a willingness and the work to shed old layers, face turbulence, and navigate chaos. Transformation can be beautiful, yet it also asks us to confront discomfort and change. This process is not always easy, but for those willing to take the leap, it can be deeply rewarding and life-affirming.

We will PAUSE welcoming new volunteers from the dates 24th of February until the 4th of May. If you have joined us before this date you are welcome to continue staying with us for a more stable and intimate period with less in and out energy for the spring.

To show that you are aware of the commitment required, please include the code "Responsability" in your application. Volunteers will be trained and supported in this process, learning valuable skills in stewardship, facilitation, and collaboration.

Currently, we are seeking volunteers who can stay with us for at least 6-8 weeks. This longer commitment allows for a deeper connection with the land, the community, and the regenerative work we’re doing here. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you! Please only apply if you've read through the whole profile and consider yourself someone who is reliable and has both an interest, skills and some experience for this opportunity.

    About us as Hosts
Anthony and Ana are the visionaries behind this place, pouring our hearts and souls into creating a space that strives to embody a more radically responsible environment that nurtures, self, community ,and environment .

Anthony’s Journey: Growing up in South Africa on a horse farm surrounded by nature, Anthony developed a deep reverence for the interconnectedness of life and the importance of co-creating safer spaces. With his experience as a social entrepreneur, he has dedicated his life to creating systems that prioritize value through regeneration. His work here focuses on fostering leadership, inspiring others to step into radical responsibility, and co-creating solutions that honor the self, the land and the community.

Ana’s Path: Ana’s work weaves together healing, creativity, and activism. With over 6,000 hours of Yoga Samkhya training, she embodies the sacred feminine and brings profound wisdom into the spaces she holds. Her work includes volunteering in prisons, engaging in regenerative justice systems, and cultivating a love for natural medicine and herbs. Ana also manages the digital and creative aspects of this place, helping to amplify its message and expand its reach.

Together, Anthony and Ana aim to inspire those who come to this place to embrace their own potential, navigate challenges Anthony and Ana aim to inspire those who come here to embrace their potential, navigate challenges with humility, and contribute meaningfully to a shared vision of regeneration and connection.

As individuals, not just as hosts, we want to remind everyone applying that we are also human—doing our best, learning, and growing alongside you. While we may make mistakes, just as you value kindness and humility, we ask the same in return during those moments.

We acknowledge that we cannot meet every individual’s unique wants and needs, but through open communication, we can do our best to support you in meeting them. While we can influence and guide, the ultimate responsibility for personal growth lies with each individual. We are here to offer support within the capacity we can, fostering an environment of mutual respect and shared growth.

Please remember that with great freedom comes great responsibility. The more we consciously embrace the harmonious care of our environment, the more freedom we gain to flow and thrive within this space. This nurtures opportunities to deepen the principles of co-creation, co-facilitation, and co-existence, all founded on mutual respect and shared purpose.

This philosophy is anchored in the understanding that:

    ->Awareness leads to greater knowledge.
->Greater knowledge empowers us with responsibility.
->With increased responsibility, we gain influence and the ability to respond.
->This ultimately grants us the freedom of choice to shape our environment and ourselves.
    AWARNESS → RESPONSIBILITY → FREEDOM

here, we believe that every interaction is an opportunity for being, holding, or growth. Living here, you’ll experience not only the joys of community living but also the challenges that come with co-creating in a shared space. These challenges are where the deepest learning happens, offering profound opportunities for personal and collective transformation.

We make a distinction between three core areas of responsibility: to oneself, to the community, and to the project. This balance forms the foundation of this place's experience. While the work hours you dedicate focus on regenerating or developing the land's physical or digital infrastructure and contributing to the project's vision, living in a rotational community means embracing the opportunities and responsibilities that come with communal living and that of forming our own counter-culture society

    What does this mean?

Seperate from project work, you’ll engage in activities that sustain the well-being of the community, such as sharing circles, brief check-ins, communal meetings, and taking on community roles based on your awareness and desire of level of responsibility to take on(e.g., making fires, maintaining compost systems, being a space holder or even overseeing the functioning of the whole system). These activities are essential to the functioning of the community space, fostering mutual support, deepening connections, and cultivating co-creation.

This time commitment for these communal activities and responsibilities is separate from your project work hours and varies based on group dynamics and processes, typically ranging around +- 5-10 hours per week. While these hours are not part of the formal work exchange, they are integral to creating a harmonious and thriving environment. In community, the act of giving is the foundation for receiving, and your participation helps create a space that is nurturing and supportive for all.

Here, you’ll have the chance to:

Engage in Regenerative Practices: Learn hands-on skills such as permaculture, eco-building, nature restoration, and holistic living, contributing to a regenerative way of life.
Embrace Radical Responsibility: Discover the empowerment and freedom that come with taking aligned action, honoring your responsibilities to yourself, the community, and the project. This principle is the foundation for creating a thriving planet through intentional and conscious efforts.
Cultivate Resilience: Navigate an environment that is both breathtakingly beautiful and climatically extreme, providing lessons in adaptability, resourcefulness, and stewardship.
Deepen Connections: Share meals, stories, and experiences with individuals from diverse backgrounds, forming bonds that often last a lifetime. This exchange fosters empathy, understanding, and the beauty of shared humanity.
Our community thrives on a balance of structure and freedom. Communal activities such as sharing circles, ecstatic dance, and meditation sessions offer spaces for connection and growth, while ample time is provided for personal reflection and self-directed exploration. Each person is encouraged to bring their unique gifts, skills, and passions, co-creating an environment where we can all thrive together.

We cherish diversity and celebrate the richness of learning from various cultures. We send a warm invitation to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals to join our vibrant community. Your unique perspectives, experiences, and traditions are deeply valued and contribute to the tapestry of our collective journey. This is a space of respect, understanding, and appreciation for all cultures.

Whether you’re looking to connect with yourself, with others, or with the land, this space offers a profound opportunity to align with a deeper purpose. Keep in mind, however, that this process often involves challenges, shedding old skins, and stepping into your being. It can be both transformative and triggering. As the space evolves with every individual who enters, you’ll find that it offers both freedom and growth for those willing to engage with it fully.

Let’s learn, grow, and celebrate together, adding more colors to the canvas of our co-created space.

Our efforts here are dedicated to environmental and social betterment, acting as a non-profit project. Our driving PHILOSOPHY is centered on the harmony between self-regeneration and nature’s restoration.

    Type of Help Needed
We’re looking for people who are dependable, reliable, and willing to step outside their comfort zones to embrace the challenges and rewards of living in a regenerative rotational community.
We are primarily looking for people who have experience living in community, who have stewarded land and or have knowledge and experience into regenerative living. This is to help ensure that the people who are here can have a strong sense of unity and cohesion, that there is the relevant support between the people and the systems that work together to create a sustainable and regenerative space.

Note that people are given a lot of trust, respect and freedom and will have the opportunities to mostly manage their own schedules, honor their own energy and natural cycles, and what it means to show up - how you wish to celebrate the life around. We can practically explain what this would like on a normal day here later in the application process if you desire or when we onboard you.

Here we give examples of the work that we do. Any construction, carpentry, or building tasks are LIGHT, NON-PROFESSIONAL, AND PART OF A LEARNING EXCHANGE.

Physical tasks we do (depends on the season):
    Building permaculture systems
Nature restoration through water retention, soil regeneration, revegetation, and reforesting
    Gardening
    Land stewardship
    Carpentry, eco-building, and construction.
    General maintenance and practical tasks.

    Digital activities :

Social media management and content creation.
    Volunteer recruitment and community engagement.
Framework and systems design and integration
    Website updates and SEO.
Artificial intelligence AI , automation and project management.
    Personal and Collective Growth, coaching

    Flexible and Adaptable Contributions:
We offer various exchange options to align with individual needs and our project goals. These options are fluid, allowing each flexibility between them as long as responsibilities are met. As we are a not-for-profit nature restoration project, we have incorporated these exchange options that allow the project to exist and offer these experiences to travelers.

All options include accommodation, plant-based meals/ingredients (including organic produce from our garden), cleaning supplies, gas, electricity, WiFi, and water.
    Community Involvement:

All participants are welcome to host and engage in various community activities and events, for example:

    Sharing circles
Ecstatic dance and other dance events
    Singing circles
    Yoga and meditation
    Men and Women Circles
*The events that happen here ultimately depend on each group that is present and what they want to co-create together

    EXCHANGE OPTIONS

Our exchange system is designed to balance individual capacities with community and project needs while fostering learning and responsibility. We offer a variety of options to ensure the sustainability of the project as well as to serve the different needs of those who come - for example some desire to work more hours, some less, some prefer to have the food provided whilst others prefer to provide their own.

As we are a private project and our host Anthony finances the majority of costs , the project itself is of a NON-PROFIT nature and therefore we have different exchange options that honor the individuals and help ensure that this project can teach, empower and ensure that culture exchange exists.

Here are the voluntary options :

    15 hours/week (3 hrs/day, 5 days) - Cater your own food entirely or // give a contribution for 3 meals or more a day: €45-55/week (sliding scale) O

    20 hours/week (4 hrs/day, 5 days) - Cater your own food or // give a contribution for 3 meals or more a day: €30-40

    25 hours/week (5 hrs/day, 5 days) - No financial contribution
A deeper exchange for those eager to immerse themselves more fully in community life. This option is best suited for individuals who are comfortable to take on more responsibility due to longer hours. Due to the nature of our project, places for this tier are limited.

**If you come from a low-income country we can offer a discount on the contribution per request

Dining & eating: We practice conscious consumption; all communal meals are vegan. Lunch is a communal experience and dinner and breakfast is open for everyone to prepare for themselves whether using any of our supplied ingredients or otherwise personally sourced like for those who have special dietary requirements outside of what we offer

Cleaning Responsibilities: Maintaining general cleanliness and a pleasant environment is a collective duty that is not counted as work hours. Regular and consistent efforts are required from everyone to uphold the well-being of our shared spaces.

Collection and drop-off service to and from the local town bus stop at arrival and departure.

    Indoor Accommodation:

Bedrooms: 5 spacious bedrooms, including 4 dormitory-style rooms.
Capacity: Each dorm room accommodates 4-5 people.
Ensuite Bathrooms: Each bedroom has a toilet, sink, and shower. Although it is recommended to use the compost systems as much as possible
Private accommodation is only available with the requirement of a separate energy exchange whether its extra work hours, specific responsibilities, specific gifts or sharing, or an extra financial contribution.

Note: There is no running hot water available in the house but there are hot showers in the Village

    Outdoor Accommodation:

Open-air Options: Guests can sleep outdoors in tents, hammocks, or under the stars. We can provide the necessary camping gear and ensure a safe environment.

Facilities: Access to compost toilets, outdoor shower, and kitchen, along with all indoor amenities.

Camper Vans: Guests with their own vans can find suitable spots to set up.

    An Invitation to Deeper Connection

We want to share something important: the way you experience us—whether as hosts, friends, family, or something entirely unique—is shaped by the dynamic we create together. We hold space with trust, respect, and openness for everyone who walks through our doors, but with so many incredible people passing through, it’s not always possible for us to initiate every connection deeply.

That said, we truly cherish those who take the initiative to approach us directly, share their desires, interests, and what’s meaningful to them and send us a personal invitation to connect, go for an adventure, do something silly, sit under the stars or something else. These moments of openness allow us to bond on a deeper, more personal level.

We’re also aware that, at times, projections can arise—whether of past experiences with authority figures, teachers, bosses, or even parents. While it’s not always easy, we understand this is part of the human journey, and we’re here to move beyond those narratives with you. We’re not just hosts; we’re fellow humans on this journey, ready to connect authentically, free from past patterns and if you share these triggers and projections with us we genuinely appreciate it to be able to develop our own unique connection beyond projections and into our own magic.

So consider this an invitation: let’s co-create a relationship that’s genuine and grounded in mutual care, learning, and respect. We’re here, and we’d love to share this space with you in a way that feels meaningful to us all.
If you are ready to co-create, learn, and steward this land with us, please include the extra word in the codeword "Purpose and Responsibility" in your application. This shows that you’ve read the profile fully and are committed to this unique opportunity.

Come with curiosity, leave with growth, and help create a more regenerative world with us!
