Beschreibung
Hello! My name's Greg, I'm in my late twenties and from London, UK. I've also previously lived in Germany for 8 years.
I currently work as an account manager and I previously studied Sound Engineering and Music Production. In my spare time I enjoying making music, hiking, woodworking, cooking, seeing friends, amongst other things.
I take part in Workaway as I enjoy experiencing and learning from other cultures, meeting others with different perspectives, while I like to use my time to contribute to other people's projects. I've been lucky to have done a few different workaways, each of which I've learnt loads from.
Personal skills I'd like to improve on: carpentry and general construction with the aim to work on my own projects in the future, along with gardening and permaculture.
Previous workaway experiences include:
- 2017 Germany - helping to restore walls of an old barn house.
- 2021 Portugal - helping on a permaculture farm east of Lisbon, doing various tasks to upkeep the garden.
- 2022 Japan - helping to restore a traditional Japanese rural house
As a general note, I'm open to do any sort of work. I'll try my best at whatever is required of me during my workaway stay. In my spare time, I may go hiking, read, listen to music, cook
