Description
We are a small family farm within 30 minutes of Gosford & only 45 minutes from Hornsby train station. We are a chemical free farm growing garlic, beef, ducks, chooks & honey. We have 2 teenaged children and a gorgeous 'kelpie' dog.

Come and experience the Aussie country life, without being too far from the city!! Enjoy beautiful home cooked 'Aussie' meals, sharing great food & conversations. We can teach you about sustainable, chemical free farming, and are more than happy to share our recipes with you too. We are a short trip to Somersby Falls & are about 40 minutes from the gorgeous Central Coast beaches. We also have the most amazing native bird life on the farm.
Help
General farm maintenance including gardening, weeding, fencing, moving animals. We also like to preserve our harvests at different times of the year. I am a female farmer & will be working alongside you during your stay.
We would also love to have help with restoring our old farmhouse.
If cooking is something that you enjoy doing, then we would love for you to take time out to prepare a meal for everyone to enjoy.

We can pick you up & drop you off to Wyong or Berowra train stations. There is very limited public transport in our area. Day trips to Sydney or Newcastle are possible. We just try to work the drop offs/pick ups into our schedule, and normally around trips to town/school. We are a short trip to Somersby Falls & are about 40 minutes from the gorgeous Central Coast beaches.

We learned so much from Virginia and Tony! They are a wealth of knowledge and always willing to explain and teach. We had a very comfortable stay and ate some good food. If you want to spend some time in a beautiful area with baby ducks, cows, sheep, and chickens then this working farm is the place to be. Would recommend!

Had my first workaway experience at the Mall's farm. They are such lovely people who work hard and love harder; real salt of the earth.
