We are from kuala lumpur city. born raise in the city but feels comfortable with nature. So we found a beach with a jungle,secluded with nearest town 4km away and camping while sell some beers for hikers.
Within radius 15km with easy access transportation bus,one can visit
Penang hill, kek lok si temple,
Georgetown street art,street foods,
Muzeum...etc.
My place is 18km away frm georgetown.
Its Nature's in between jungle&beach. Its a bar&campsite. Ppls can chill or stay in the wild,as the night fall swimming with biuluminiscent plancton quite amazing phenomena by mothers natures.

I spent 3 weeks volunteering in Monkey beach and had really good time 🫶 no stress, not a single care in the world, and it feels soo alive there. Highly recommend if you want to chill and take some rest from city and live with simple facilities. I was very lucky to have 2 months on Monkey Beach with David and Yulia...enjoyed every moment..they are your hosts but very quickly they became good friends.

By far my most fun and chilled workaway experience. David is a fantastic host. Help around the campsite involved cleaning, shooing off monkeys and looking after things whilst David went to get supplies. Amazing to wake up on the beach and fall asleep with the waves every night. Such a special place. So much gratitude to David for the experience!
