Beschreibung

Hey, I'm Tibo. I was born and raised in Belgium, but I want to explore the world, which what I"m doing now! I'm travelling through SE Asia, started in Indonesia and slowly making my way around counterclockwise haha.
I'm a big nerd and love technology, but need a social and adventurous outlet which is why I love travelling. Meeting new people, discovering new cultures, and hopefully soon, helping out some locals!

For years I was very into language learning, and thus have spent quite a bit of time on duolingo, I'm also interested in the more theoretical side of linguistics, though I don't have any formal training or anything. While travelling I'm learning mostly just the basics so I can get by, but I'm always eager to learn more! While travelling I've also taught a tiny bit of English in West Sumatra. It was a very fun experience and would definitely do it again! That said I'm not a native English speaker so it might not be the right fit if that is what you are looking for.

Gardening - Growing up I've helped my grandpa maintain his (vegetable)garden
Helping around the house - I can do the dishes, sweep/mop the floor, dusting, cleaning etc.
I studied architecture, so while I don't have a lot of practical knowledge, I've been at building sites and know how a building is constructed.

Was noch ...

When travelling I enjoy exploring on foot. Usually I'm listening to some music or a podcast but sometime, especially when out in nature, it's much nicer to enjoy the sound of the surroundings. Exploring new cultures has been an eye opening experience, and I'm very fortunate to be able to do it. I hope everyone has the change to do it at some point!

Apart from that I enjoy taking pictures and designing small items that I use in daily life, which I 3D print at home.
