Dear Volunteers from all around the world:
My name is Andres, and I run a Bed and Breakfast Ecolodge in San Cristobal Island, in the Galapagos, Ecuador.
My place is very artistic and has an unique style, which resembles Antonio Gaudi's in Barcelona, Spain.
I am looking for some extra help in this areas:
Reception.
Housekeeping.
And in the Marketing field to help me promote this Ecologicial place.
People who can speak many languages are very welcome.

Here the volunteers will learn how to live in an Ecological Environment, how to treat guests and tourists as their own, and how to build an Eco-friendly consciousness of the Galapagos. Here we ask volunteers for seriousness and to reflect upon the world we are living in... You may also see our beautiful art work around the town, mosaics and sculptures overall, and at the Airport.
Arbeit
Volunteers are very welcome to stay here and help us.
Normally we ask for 2 hours of work during the mornings; and 3 hours in the afternoons, during the Reception shifts. If we do not have guests, the volunteer may take the day off to enjoy the surroundings and do some trips.
In addition, the hotel is an Ecological B@B located very close to the main tourist attractions here in San Cristobal Island (Loberia, Airport, Playa Mann, for example). The job is easy, but I do insist on doing some cleaning for the hotel. Since the life in the island is very relaxing, for sure you may have time to go to the beach, surf or diving, even after work...
I do encourage the volunteers to show their social skills and be friendly with the guests.

Unterkunft
I provide a room with a private bathroom. And breakfast when we have guests. Kitchen and pool are free to use.

The hotel is near by all the tourist sites, close to the beaches and diving centers.
It is a very artistic place and our family is well known in the island, since we have done a lot of sculptures and tile-works at the Airport and the Pier too.
Just as a hobby, I enjoy to play chess with some friends, so if you are up to it... WELCOME!

The work was very straightforward and fair, a few hours in the morning depending on guests and another few in the afternoon/evening from 4pm. It was low season when I worked here so it was not too demanding at all and Andres was very happy to be flexible when I wanted to go diving or on a tour!
