House-sitting in the middle of the Mariapfarr in the Austrian Alps

  Beschreibung

  I have a little guesthouse in the middle of the alps with 5 apartments. Guests in summer and winter time usually come to enjoy our mountains, wildlife, lakes, swimming, skiing and slow food. We are living at the altitude of over 1150 Meters which is only at the bottom of the valley... The alps are simply amazing during the entire year!
  
  I have taken over the place from my father a short while ago and I am turning it slowely into something different. Some keywords about the concept: Living with nature, eating home grown organic food, or food products from the farmers next door, trying to set up an environmental friendly systems, a meeting place for people around the world, dinner events at the fireplace, great discussions, arts, culture, music (e.g, living room concerts),... and simply enjoying life. Most of the poeple that are coming to stay are either old guests from my father, freinds which i used to meet somewhere on this planet or simply people who heard of us or found us and decided to join....
  
  I personally work internationally in emergency response operations with the Red Cross or the UN on design projects - both in a position as a freelancer. Because of my work i have been travelling all my life. As i took over the place of my father i try to focus my work now on spring and autumn. Winter and summer i am staying in the mountains now to be with my guests and to develop this place step by step into something different...
  
  I am currently looking for a GERMAN speaking house-sitter to take care of the house. I am looking for someone who will talke care of the house and enjoys to spend time with my farher and another workaway from denmark. The focus shall be on cooking, keeping the house tidy and enjoying nature. You will have plenty of free time and you can bring your own work with you in case you can work from abroad. Internet is good enough to get everything done. There are also a few things to do in and aorund the house. As we are living close to one of the skiing areas you can go skiing and enjoy the last winter days or simply go for hikes to enjoy the amazing nature. - I will be coming and going during that time.

  Arbeit

  I am looking for one GERMAN SPEAKING person, that enjoys to spend 2-4 weeks up here in the mountains together with another workaway from denmark and my father. I will be coming and going. what needs to be mainly done:
  
  1) Keep the general rooms of the house clean (kitchen, entrance hall, comon toilet and living room.
  2) cook once a day a hot meal and have either lunch or dinner with my father and the other workaway, both are a joy to be with.
  3) If you feel you would like to do your own project in or around the house you are welcome. this only needs to be discussed with me before hand.... and we need to agree on it.
  5) If you can motivate my father to go for walks that would be amazing...
  6) Over the easter weekend we will have a traditional event and you are most welcome to enjoy it with us. it is usually a lot of fun.
  
  you will have lots of free time! and if you enjoy the alps and a beautiful country side in general , then this is the place to be. if you come before the 6`th of april you can still go skiing behind the house.

  As here is not much cultural life around at this time of the year it is great if you love nature and delicious organic food.
  If you bring a car you can easily explore all those amazing valleys that surround us. if not you can walk from the house in all directions, also up the mountains. The great thing at this place is the astonishing nature and the great visitors we have. most workaways hardly leave the house, as they really enjoy it.
  A skibus passes the house and goes up the mountain every 30 min..... So if you love skiing that is the place to be. We also do have bikes you can use in our house. and maybe my father lets you drive his car....
