    Description

We are English School. We are a low-fee school, based in the Capital City of Phnom Penh, Cambodia and we focus on those poor families and average families who don't have the ability to send children to Language schools (as they are highly charged) and as well as English classes for youths where most of them are in very much need and migrated from provinces to look for better lifestyles and higher education and yet they can't afford to pay for schools.

We also work on capacity building, for those less fortunate kids and youths who are in need of abilities to communicate, to bring themselves up in public, and to deal with people from the rest of the world.

Our English School is founded by one local Khmer man named Sarom Thea (known as Humble). Our School was founded in 2012, it started with a very low-fee charge, and we work on English for a living, the program for speaking English is within 3 to 6 months, and once students have got basic speaking, they can learn higher levels.

Today there is only one branch: one is located at No.28, Street 598, Village 1, Sangkat Boeung Kak 2, Khan Tuol Kork, Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

The travelers will learn about of course the cultural exchange, they could learn about the lifestyles of our Khmer people of as it is a developing country of Cambodia (Angkor Wat) where it is the same to 50 to 100 years into the past of some western countries, 80% of our population are farmers, not modern farmers, they are family-base farmers that the processes of farming are on natural base. The living standards are more like tribal shapes, the houses(huts/cottages) are made of palm leaves and thatches. The travelers can travel around the country to see different resorts, there are various places to visit like: ancients temples(there are thousands of temples all over the country), beaches and islands (Cambodia is located on Thailand Gulf), Mountains (Cambodia is surrounded by mountains, the Capital City is in the middle and lowest part of the country with one of the biggest lakes, Tonle Sap, and one of the longest flowing rivers, Tonle Menkong), and the weather is warm (tropical area).

    Help

I-Volunteers will assist and help Khmer teachers in the class to carry out the study program effectively.

II-We do need English Native Speakers and Teachers to help improve Khmer Children and Youths with pronunciation and living languages as we are here Khmer trainers find it hard to work on the language as well as the motivation to keep students confident in using the language and other life skills for future prosperity.

III-Another field is the students do need those educated foreigners to help push them higher because our abilities here are limited, and we want all our less fortunate youths and children to deal with the world.

IV-We also need help with sports; Ground Hockey, Floorball, and Soccer.

V-We need volunteers 5 hours a day and of course 5 days a week, it's off for Saturday and Sunday.

    We offer as follows:
1- Accommodation like joined room and/or dormitory
    2-Three local meals
3-For three months and longer periods, we offer Visas for full-working periods.
4-Allowance 100$ US dollars per month

    Thanks for your interest,
