Description
We are English School. We are a low-fee school, based in the Capital City of Phnom Penh, Cambodia and we focus on those poor families and average families who don't have the ability to send children to Language schools (as they are highly charged) and as well as English classes for youths where most of them are in very much need and migrated from provinces to look for better lifestyles and higher education and yet they can't afford to pay for schools.
We also work on capacity building, for those less fortunate kids and youths who are in need of abilities to communicate, to bring themselves up in public, and to deal with people from the rest of the world.
Our English School is founded by one local Khmer man named Sarom Thea (known as Humble). Our School was founded in 2012, it started with a very low-fee charge, and we work on English for a living, the program for speaking English is within 3 to 6 months, and once students have got basic speaking, they can learn higher levels.
Today there is only one branch: one is located at No.28, Street 598, Village 1, Sangkat Boeung Kak 2, Khan Tuol Kork, Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.Types of help and learning opportunities

The travelers will learn about of course the cultural exchange, they could learn about the lifestyles of our Khmer people of as it is a developing country of Cambodia (Angkor Wat) where it is the same to 50 to 100 years into the past of some western countries, 80% of our population are farmers, not modern farmers, they are family-base farmers that the processes of farming are on natural base. The living standards are more like tribal shapes, the houses(huts/cottages) are made of palm leaves and thatches. The travelers can travel around the country to see different resorts, there are various places to visit like: ancients temples(there are thousands of temples all over the country), beaches and islands (Cambodia is located on Thailand Gulf), Mountains (Cambodia is surrounded by mountains, the Capital City is in the middle and lowest part of the country with one of the biggest lakes, Tonle Sap, and one of the longest flowing rivers, Tonle Menkong), and the weather is warm (tropical area).
Learning how low the educational levels are, and the needs on educational fields...
Best Regards,Projects involving children

Help
I-Volunteers will assist and help Khmer teachers in the class to carry out the study program effectively.
II-We do need English Native Speakers and Teachers to help improve Khmer Children and Youths with pronunciation and living languages as we are here Khmer trainers find it hard to work on the language as well as the motivation to keep students confident in using the language and other life skills for future prosperity.
III-Another field is the students do need those educated foreigners to help push them higher because our abilities here are limited, and we want all our less fortunate youths and children to deal with the world.
IV-We also need help with sports; Ground Hockey, Floorball, and Soccer.
V-We need volunteers 5 hours a day and of course 5 days a week, it's off for Saturday and Sunday.
We offer as follows:
1- Accommodation like joined room and/or dormitory
2-Three local meals
3-For three months and longer periods, we offer Visas for full-working periods.
4-Allowance 100$ US dollars per month
Thanks for your interest,Languages

I wish to know more languages in order to travel and making more friends and the same way I can share my Cambodian Language so that we can feel close to each other.Accommodation
Our accommodation is a villa, the room is like a dormitory. There are mattresses and lockers for volunteers.
They are school buildings, the volunteers will stay here because it is supportive.
Travelers' Stay
-All the male travelers will stay in the dormitory with the local teachers, we want to develop bonds between both locals and foreign peoples, that way the relationship and unity are developed, as well as language is well-spoken and practiced.
-All the female travelers will also stay in the dormitory with the local female teachers, we want to develop bonds between both locals and foreign peoples, that way the relationship and unity are developed, as well as language is well-spoken and practiced.
-For coupled travelers, we provide private rooms for them, and both are on the service. The accommodation is in the service center.
-For a family with children and pets, we provide private rooms for them, both parents are on service whereas the children are in the kids' circle at our school. The accommodation is in the service center.
*️️️️️️️️️️️️️Note: The kitchen is attached, the volunteers can make their food whenever they need it. We provide all cooking facilities
Meals and Foods Provided:
-We provide three local meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), each meal there is one type of food and rice.
-The water is filtered but not cooled
*️️️️️️️️️️️️️The campus is at the center of the Capital city, the travelers can access ethical restaurants and marts
all the international foods are varied here especially the place where our school is located.
Phone and Internet
-We don't provide phone service but smartphone use here is varied, there are three famous competitive companies: Cellcard, Smart, and Metphone, they are cheap, it costs 5$ a month to make calls and internet use. We can use internet calls everywhere all over the world through Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Line, What's App, Viber, Skype,... It is popular here to use smartphones, we don't go to Internet Cafe or we don't find those places anymore but if travelers need, then we allow them to use computers in our offices.
*️️️️️Note:
For both telephone and internet lines, these two are advanced in Cambodia. Most youths and senior people use smartphones to access internet services. Hope all travelers use the same way we do here.

The owner of the school responded very quickly to my request to volunteer. Before I started I was able to see the building and the room. The room was large, had a closet and a bathroom. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning but I think they will install one soon.
I had no teaching experience, but after a short… read more

Sarom,

These three weeks have been above expectations! As I had hoped, I got a unique impression of Cambodia and at the same time I have been able to do something for the local population. Moreover, I got to know very nice people!
