  Beschreibung

  We, Ulrike and Thomas, run a guest house situated in a beautiful landscape which is an ideal starting point for nature experiences, sports and artistic activities. In our house we offer holiday apartments as well as double and multi-bed rooms.
  From March to June and from September to November we mainly offer courses and project days for children, youth and adult groups. In our atelier we invite our guests to be creative: Ceramics, glass and sculpture are the three focal points. Mindfulness and meditation is another topic we deal with and we offer workshops and retreats.
  
  In 2025 we run different camps for young people, one is about climate change. We are a small team and are also engaged in some ngo-projects like the global field and we host groups with very different backgrounds, skills and competences.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Our house is located near the Austrian-Slovenian border, situated in a fantastic landscape and in a rural but very interesting region to get in touch with local artists. There are also two museums for contemporary art. To get in touch is quite easy with locals because it is also a touristic region with great nature, especially mountains and lakes. Our house is offering from May to October a monthly event: It's an open space and cultural café to bring local people together, to interact with local artists and to get active with your own creativity in our workshop.
  Regularly we do creative workshops in our house where you can get in touch with young people from different regions in Austria. We will show you our region doing excursions, trips to museums or in the mountains. We offer you a creative space in our house and you can benefit on our skills to work with different materials like clay, stone or upcycling projects. We love to work on projects together with you to benefit from your creative skills and competences.

  Arbeit

  One of our main target groups in our our house are young people. We search for people who have experience or education in pedagogical and creative work.
  
  We are cooking for our guests and prefer to cook organic food, which we want to grow more and more in our own garden. If you love to cook and to grow vegetables, fruits and herbs you are also very welcome.
  
  As we are a guest house we need assistance with general maintainance, cleaning and keeping our house in good shape.
  
  We are a small team and we like to interact with people who feel responsible of what they are doing and who like to work indepently.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a free room with shower/toilet or a small apartment if available. The whole infrastructure of the house can be used. We love to cook and eat together.

  Our local mountain - the Petzen - is an "all-year-mountain" for all fitness levels: From spring to autumn the Petzen invites you to take a walk, hike or mountain bike. In winter there are well-kept slopes for skiing, touring, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
