We are Maren (originally from Germany), Mithra and our daughters Surya & Maya,
Plus our team:
Suneetha in the kitchen, Piyasena the caretaker, Bandula the master-carpenter, Raja the handyman and Lucy our dog.
Are you looking for a hands-on experience that combines sustainability, creativity, and community? Our small-scale farm in the beautiful south of Sri Lanka, is calling for motivated and passionate volunteers to help us grow and thrive!
We’re more than just a farm – we’re a place where ideas come to life. From growing fruits and vegetables to upcycling wood, from landscaping lush spaces to creating inspiring play areas for children, there’s always something exciting happening here.

We believe it's all about connecting with people, sharing stories, and embracing the rich diversity of cultures that come together on our small farm.
We love to cook traditional meals from different countries together or take you to our favorite beach in the evenings.
Arbeit
We’re looking for volunteers who are:
- Enthusiastic about sustainable farming and agriculture
- Creative and skilled in landscaping, woodwork, painting, or other crafts
- Ready to get their hands dirty and learn new skills
- Open to living and working in a collaborative and inspiring environment
- Experienced in child play and babysitting
What you can expect:

Our daily schedule:
6:00 - 8:00 : Personal morning routines
8:00 - 9:00 : Breakfast time
9:00 - 12:30 : Help session
13:00 - 14:00 : Lunchtime
14:00 - 15:00 : Siesta Break
15:00 - 17:00 : Help session
17:00 - 18:30 : Beach time
19:00 - 20:00 Dinner time

Unterkunft
You'll stay in a simple but clean room. We have a nice outdoor shower and separate bathroom.
Our kitchen staff prepares three meals a day, and she can adjust to any dietary restriction.
But if you feel like making your own food that is totally fine.
