Description
We are a non profit Inn in the Pyrenees which aims to host trekkers and to participate to local social dynamic. The place proposes a bar, a restaurant and dormitories and tries to be alternative. We particularly pay attention to the choice of products for the restaurant and bar and to the cultural and activist program we display.
A team of 15 people including 6 employees runs the guest house but the project is also supported by many other people belonging to the same organization and involved in others projects (circus tent, cooperative lab, etc).Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The valley where we live is very diverse and dynamic. The helpers will be in permanent contact with many people from both our NGO and the other people living here. Some exchange might also be possible with farmers, bakers, etc.
What you gonna learn here is:
- How is the life in a Pyrenean valley?
- How can a inn work collectively?
- Many practical things such as cooking, gardening, walking in the mountain, selecting plants and fruits, transform them, etc.
- You will get an experience of collective life with many different people: how is the daily life, how do we make decision, which mediation do we use, etc?
Welcome!Help
We welcome any helpers interested in our project from May to October. We will be happy to host you at least 3 weeks. Missions for helpers can be very diverse. The main missions take place outside the inn with gardening, organizing concert, fixing stuff, picking fruits and mushroom in the mountain, preparing jam, etc. There is also a lot of helping in the kitchen.

Bonne route à toi Katharina!
I loved my 3-month-workstay in the two close villages in the Pyrenees.
The work is very varied, satisfying and fair. This place is an adorable little wooden inn for hikers and you can't avoid to meet extraordinarily interesting people there. All in all there are… read more
