We are Claudia and David, a couple who love nature, the mountains and our beloved Colombia. We have a tourism company and for 7 years we have worked hard to build our Refuge, an Ecolodge between mountains, near Bogotá, approximately 1 hour away, 45 km from the capital and 3 km from the town of Choachí.
Our Refuge is in the middle of nature, friendly to the environment, wherever it is a meeting space for people who love mountain sports, nature, animals, birds.
The Ecolodge always has a lot of work and projects, carpentry, gardening, road construction, planting the garden, plants and trees, general maintenance. We don't speak English very well, but we want to speak it very well and be able to communicate with everyone.
Who we are:
Claudia: Industrial Designer and Tour Guide, an athlete, especially in cycling, hiking, and for 10 years she has shared her experiences with people who want to know the mountains, sports and Colombia in its natural state, she designs unique tourist products very focused on sports. She loves animals, tranquility, nature. For 15 years she has lived on the outskirts of the capital, escaping the noise and chaos of the city. David: Graduate in Physical Education, Specialist in Water Rescue and Lifesaving, volunteer for the Red Cross. Athlete and lover of great challenges in the mountains. Strong and hard-working, a trustworthy person who supports Claudia in any crazy idea she comes up with. For 11 years she has walked by her side creating dreams together that are slowly coming true. ---- We are Claudia and David, a couple who love nature, the mountains and our beloved Colombia. We have a tourism company and for 5 years we have worked hard to build our Refuge, an Ecolodge between mountains, near Bogotá, approximately 1 hour away, 45 km from the capital and 3 km from the town of Choachí. Somos Claudia y David una pareja amante de la naturaleza, la montaña y de nuestra amada Colombia. Tenemos una empresa de turismo y desde hace 5 años hemos trabajado fuerte para construir nuestro Refugio, un Ecolodge entre montañas, cerca a Bogotá, a 1 hora aproximadamente, a 45 km de la capital y a 3 km del Pueblo de Choachí.
Nuestro Refugio está en medio naturaleza, amigable con el medio ambiente, donde sea un espacio de encuentro para las personas amantes de los deportes de montaña, de la naturaleza, los animales, las aves.
El Ecolodge siempre tiene mucho trabajo y proyectos, carpintería, jardinería, construcción de caminos, sembrar la huerta, plantas y árboles, mantenimiento general. No hablamos muy bien inglés, pero deseamos hablarlo muy bien y podernos comunicar con todos.
El voluntario deberá dormir en camping, nosotros le proporcionaremos todos los implementos.
Quiénes somos:
Claudia: Diseñadora Industrial y Guía de Turismo, deportista especialmente en bicicleta, senderismo y desde hace 10 años comparte sus experiencias con personas que quieren conocer la montaña, el deporte y Colombia al natural, diseña productos turísticos únicos muy enfocados al deporte. Ama los animales, la tranquilidad, la naturaleza. Desde hace 15 años vive en las afueras de la capital escapando del ruido y el caos de la ciudad.
David: Licenciado en Educación Física, Especialista en Salvamento y Rescate acuático, voluntario de la Cruz Roja. Deportista y amante de los grandes retos en la montaña. Fuerte y trabajador, un ser confiable y apoya en cuanta locura se le ocurre a Claudia. Desde hace 13 años camina a su lado creando juntos sueños que van cumpliendo poco a poco.

Vida rural muy cerca de bogotá, paisajes increibles, convivir con las personas de la zona, campesinos, practicar el español, encontrarán paisajes muy cerca como cascadas, aguas termales, parques naturales, lagunas. Llanos orientales, terreno especial para hacer ciclomontañismo, caminatas, cabalgatas. Conocer sobre el agro y la vida campesina. El clima es increíbe, entre 15 y 23°C
No nos gusta el ruido, el desorden, ni la fiesta. Nuestro espacio será para convivir con la naturaleza, observar el paisaje, escuchar los pájaros. Si estás buscando esto, nuestro proyecto no será el lugar. Si deseas tener un espacio natural y aportar tus conocimientos y trabajo en el campo, bienvenido seas, puedes llegar en bici o caminando es un lugar hermoso para la práctica del ciclismo, el senderismo y el paisajismo.

Unterkunft
We offer camping and all its equipment or a safari-type tent with mats and blankets.
Supplies and a market for breakfast and lunch during the workdays, mainly vegetarian. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare your own food. (Most of the time, you must prepare your own food.)

The house is 1 hour from Bogotá (45 km) and 3 km from the town of Choachí, where you'll find everything: supermarkets, restaurants, and many natural attractions. There's excellent transportation from the capital, Bogotá.
You'll sleep in a safari-style tent with a mattress and blankets. The bathrooms are a bit far away, but you'll be surrounded by nature, with everything it has to offer.
The food is vegetarian, and we provide breakfast and lunch. You must purchase supplies for dinner or whatever you prefer.
La casa queda a 1 hora de Bogotá (45km) y a 3 km del pueblo de Choachí donde encontrarán de todo: supermercados, restaurantes y además muchos atractivos naturales. Hay muy buen transporte desde la capital Bogotá.
Dormirás en una carpa tipo safari, con colchón y cobijas, los baños son un poco alejados, pero estarás en medio de la naturaleza, con todo lo que ella tiene para ofrecerte.
La alimentación es vegetariana y te ofrecemos la comida para preparar desayuno y almuerzo, debes comprar los implementos para tus cenas o lo que sea de tu gusto.
