Description
Salam👋
My name is Yayha Jaddou, I was born in the heart of the desert before I moved into the center of the village. I lived with my family the traditional and modern live of nomads and my childhood was moving from place to place.
As a young man I still liked the peaceful live as a nomad and I decided to share it. Now I'm living in the desert , called „Mhamid Elghizlan". I have a hostel and I'm planing trips for tourists into the desert, with camels or cars(4x4).
I'm searching for someone who likes to experience this kind of life and who wants to share it:)
The work will be mainly, to help me and two local people working in the house (cleaning the rooms, helping in garden). We have 6 rooms in general(but we want to expand our Riad in the near future), a nice terrace and garden where you can also relax.
The hours of work will be around 2-4 hours, but the amount of work always differs from day to day.
You will live here like it's your home and share our life and our culture.
I hope to meet you and share my beautiful culture with you.
welcome 🙏Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will learn about the normad live in the Sahara and experience our life. You will live with us like it's your family and share some nice moments together :)
Since I'm always traveling from M'Hamid to the Sahara and back I can take you with me so you can experience a tour in the Sahara.
I still have some family members living in the Sahara. We will visit them so you can have an authentic nomad culture experience.
We will visit the biggest sand dune called Chigaga and also sleep in the desert. You will see a beautiful night sky full of stars and sometimes even the Milky way.
And also because we will have breakfast, lunch and dinner together I can show you how to cook traditional Moroccan dishes.
Maybe you can even show me how to cook your national dishes. I'm always open to learnore about other people's culture while I show them mine.Help
The work day can be different from day to day but usually a day will look like this:
We(me and all the volunteers) will have breakfast together.
Then we will start with the cleaning. We currently have 6 private rooms that need to be cleaned every time somebody checks out. Sometimes there are more rooms to clean sometimes there are less. Always depends on how many people are visiting us at the moment. We also need to keep the common areas clean so our guests and we feel comfortable living here. Treat this Riad as it would be you own home.
After the cleaning is done you can relaxe in our common areas.
In the afternoon you need to check in the new guests but you can take turns with the other volunteers so you can go out and explore the village or sit at a café here in M'Hamid.
If you have any ideas how to improve this Riad feel free to tell me about your ideas. I'm always open to improvement.
In addition to that you will have 2 free days a week where you can do whatever you like such as visiting other cities here in Morocco.Languages

The village is quiet and a small market nearby providing basically everything you need.
The vibe is chill and comforting. You can feel the kindness of people here even if we don't speak the same language. It's really a good chance to experience the true local life.
