Description
Hello beautiful people!
My name is Maciej and almost five years after my first Workaway experiences I'd love to get back on the road.
This summer I am graduating (master degree in Italian Philology) and in the following months I'd like to explore places I've never seen, meet inspiring people, gain new experiences with them and share mine. As an open-minded dreamer I want to make the world a better place, to make some change. And even if I'm quite an introverted individual – but also really sociable and talkative one, don't worry ;) – the most important thing for me is to connect with others, to see them as they are, to listen to them and to their stories, to exchange points of view. That's where the change begins.
I'm a creative hard-working person and being helpful always makes me happy. I can adapt myself to many situations and different kind of work, ready for learning new things. I'm also a perfectionist so everything I do I try to do the best I can. However, I'm not a workaholic, rather a well-balanced soul with a lot of respect to work and with a sense of responsability. Also with a sense of humor and aesthetics ;)
My interests and passions are vast: from music (probably my biggest love in life, thing that can save you and bring all people together), fashion (fashion anthropology, history of fashion, designing, circular fashion, DIY projects and much more), cinema, performing arts and art in general to various cultures and languages, history (especially social history, queer studies and queer history), social psychology, self-development, spiritual quest and more, as you can see in the section below.
That's why I'd love to meet passionate people and to take part in Workaway projects with some kind of mission and/or creative vibe so I could grow as a person and contribute to someone's life and vision too.
In the end I'm open to different kind of projects, to various places (in Europe, in this period of my life, however) and always to everyone – I just need to feel it intuitivly.
If you're interested, check my futher sections and don't hesitate to write to me. I appreciate any kind of messages. Hope to see some of you on the road :))Interests

As a person with a degree in Italian Philology I could teach you some Italian, practice it with you and share both my knowledge about Italian culture and experiences I gained during the time I was living in Italy (for more than 15 months in total, so far). And of course I can also help you with Polish (my mother tongue). Practicing English always sounds perfect for me but I'd love to learn at least some basics of French and Spanish/Catalan too. I'm also open to learn other languages!Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

For the last five years – beside studying Italian Philology (language and cultural/literature studies) at Warsaw University – I tried to fill my life with various projects. I was an Erasmus+ student twice so I had a great chance to know Italian culture and language better and to explore different regions of my beloved country, which Italy has become to me.
During those 15 months there (in total) I was also a part of a few LGBTQ+ associations. That's where my activisit's journey began 🏳️🌈 And then, at the beginning of pandemic, me and my friend decided to launch a podcast about queer history. We've been creating a lot of audio content but also additional content for our social media. At the same time I've been writing articles about history for different magazines, I've been interviewing a lot of people too (not only researches but also queer music groups).
Always willing to take part in any creative and artistic projects!
Few years ago I was working as a waiter so I had constant contact with (especially foreign) tourists and hotel guests. Lately I've been a seller in a clothes shop (I had a lot of duties, I can tell you more about it, if you'd like to) which I really enjoyed and in the near future I'd like to work in the fashion industry, in its different departmens (with the climate and social aware approach, of course). But I'm open to much more – that's why every experience is important to me.
As a workawayer, back in 2018, I was helping with cleaning, refreshing and painting a garage, with gardening (pruning, weeding, mowning the grass, etc) and during first stages of making wine. And everytime I'm at my parents' house, I do some gardening, general maintenance and I help a lot around the house. I'm a well organised person, almost pedantic, so I can help in many different ways.
So as I said at the beggining, I'm a hard-working person, always ready for learnig new things. I can adapt myself to many situations and different types of jobs. And I will help you gladly with anything, sharing any of my experiences, knowledge and skills. From teaching you Italian and everything I know about Italian culture, practicing English (if you need it and want to), helping around the house and in the garden, creating various types of content, promoting your projects to helping you with clients, tourists and creating something together.Age
