Hi I am Juli! I am a very open-minded and explorative person who loves learning new things, meeting new people and embracing different cultures. I love nature - as a Biologist I am passionate about the environment and sustainability, as well as wildlife and hiking. I am half filipino and experienced two different cultures growing up, so I love travelling, cooking different cuisines and learning languages.

I play guitar, piano, violin and sing, and have recently started learning salsa and bachata! I really want to spend more time in Spain as there is a lot Spanish influence in Filipino culture, and I enjoy the music, dance, food and people there. I have been learning Spanish and want the opportunity to improve my speaking skills as well. I often cook with or for my family and enjoy the vegetable rich, locally sourced cuisine in Spain.

At home we have had two dogs and I am currently walking and training a 5 month old puppy with crazy amounts of energy!

I enjoy videography and taking photos. Both me and my dad liking photographing nature and people and I used to run the social media and publicity for a choral society.

Most of all I am a hardworker and down to do any task - I love learning new skills. I have experience working in restaurants and cafes, cooking, cleaning and serving customers for long hours. I value keeping myself healthy and active and have worked in a painting job so I am willing to do physically intensive jobs as well.

I would love get the change to meet you and embrace lifestyle and cultural differences. Meanwhile I will assist you in any means possible and am happy to do different jobs depending on the time and need.

More details about my language interests
I love learning languages and tried several in school including French, Spanish and Japanese. My mother speaks tagalog and uses this to communicate to me in the home. I am most proficient in Japanese followed by Spanish. I have still have a lot of room for improvement in Spanish mainly learning new vocabulary and grammar forms. I have taught Japanese privately and volunteering in schools. I am happy to teach Japanese.

I love to cook a variety of food, including Japanese and filipino, and have a few years of experiences working in cafes and restaurant/ bars serving guests, prepping food and deep cleaning the space within long shifts.

I taught piano to children from 6 years old to 12 years old for 2 years as well as did babysitting. I have also volunteered in a care home for elderly residents with dementia so am able to look after and assist any age range.

I volunteered for a year in my choir and did publicity work including the following: keeping the choir members updated with any notifications; videoing and posting on social media; making posters to advertise our events and setting up email and social media platforms for our members. I am into photography and videography and am looking to develop my skills.

I study Biology so am interested in the environment, climate, plants, animals and ecology. I keep myself active with regular exercise and enjoy hiking, so have the stamina to help out with any outdoor jobs. I am an avid music player and love guitar, piano, violin and singing. I am happy to teach any of these skills to a basic level.

I have had two puppies now so have experience raising and training dogs and am happy to take care of any pets.

As mentioned in my description I love music both listening and playing. I enjoy all genres from classical to salsa to rock and old music.
I have just started learning Spanish dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue, kizomba) this year and enjoy both the music and social aspects.
I have had two dogs and currently spend a lot time walking and training my 5 month year old springer spaniel who has infinite energy!
I like exercise including running, hiking, tennis and badminton.
