Dear Sasha, there are only wonderful things to write about your stay with us, but to summarize it would be " to know you is to love you". From the very first contact you had been so reliable, open, respectful, authentic and supportive all the way through - both with words and with actions - that is really special in the most beautiful way - like you are! Thank you for embracing everyone of us as we are, for embracing life and new adventures and tasks and chores here and for inviting us into your life with sharing your story and energy and wisdom! You came and just went directly into our hearts naturally, you became a sister, a friend, a neighbor and a daughter all at once. Also on a practical support we couldn't be more grateful for you working patiently with a high commitment - body and mindwise - on our fence, trimming bushes and fields, painting walls, inspiring us with knowledge about Australia and traveling and last but not least sharing time and life with us. Thank you sooooo much! You are always welcome here with arms wide open!

Eli was an excellent worker and was with me on two occasions first for just 3 weeks to cover other staff vacation and then again for a whole year more or less. I would be happy to have her work at my bed and breakfast again as she was well capable of completing all tasks assigned. Eli was a joy to work with. she ran all of the accommodation end of the property and also welcomed guests and kept the facility to a high standard of montane informing me of any problems or issues before they got out of hand. Eli would be an asset to any Business as she is well capable of turning her hand to any task assigned.

I'm so happy to have been able to have the experience of living in alaska for a month. The Yurt I stayed in was comfortable and warm, and the two dogs, Lucy and Luna are the sweetest babies. Working with the sled dogs is something I won't forget. And dinners with Emily and Gus are always delicious after working outside. If you love the outdoors, solitude, dogs, and beautiful hiking trails, this place is a gem. The work was physical, but not overly so. Gus and Emily, always made sure they wernt overworking me, and gave me plenty of time to explore the wilderness. I loved it there so much, and I will miss everything about living in alaska with Gus, Emily, and all of the dogs.

It was fun and helpful having Yulia and Masha to stay. Yulia is good company and helped us to prepare and plant a new vegetable bed and get the house ready for guests. It was interesting to hear her thoughts on Russian culture and politics. Thanks for your visit, Yulia!

I only stayed with Tori for a short time, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the heart of Wellington. Tori was so kind, showing me around the city, sharing stories and even taking me to an event and some bars where we enjoyed live music together. There’s a lot to learn from Tori, she is a very interesting and confident woman. Thank you, Tori, for the wonderful memories! I wish you all the best!

My Stay was in Fall/Winter 2022. I had a really good time. Shelly and Brei are both lovely and I felt like a family memeber, while I stayed there. It is lots of fun to work with the animals and there is planty of time to discover the area and 100 Mile house. I had an awesome experience.

I am truly very grateful that I got to spend a few days with Sheree and her family. I was immediately welcomed warmly and smoothly integrated into their daily family life. The work was easy and very flexible and the communication was clear and straightforward. The two girls are lively, warm and very respectful. Playing together in the garden was a lot of fun. I felt very comfortable during my stay in Geraldine and can wholeheartedly recommend this Workaway experience to anyone. A big thank you to you, Sheree, and your lovely family. It was an amazing experience, I learnt so much and shared good party moments with Ingrid and Edward, they were really nice and welcoming, It was great to provide my help to this big project.

Cindy was an incredible support at our school! She had excellent ideas, and delivered on all her promises. We are very pleased that she came to assist us. She was great with the children, and took part in activities with staff. Cindy was also a lovely person! Great to talk to, and so easy to get along with - it felt like she had been with us for months, instead of only 1 month. She is open and warm, and very well traveled. She could get on with anyone! We hope she will stay in touch and pass back our way again. She will always be welcome :)

nice couple very happy and harmonious. they had a natural way of belonging here in the nature, the natural environment, they were happy to be away from the wifi for a while and were thriving reading ,doing interesting things and talk and laugh wiht each other. they were very open to be clear wiht me when there was something that did not work for me and the disturbance was resolved in less than a minute. thx for all the help you sweet team, the house got clean and the property cleared of a lot of leaves, sticks and tiles and piles of bamboo. .they were respectful of my space and were eager to help. i am grateful.

It was great to have Manon at our place! We had lots of shared interests.Manon is easy going and good humoured. She achieved several important tasks, in a very effective way.,including painting.it was hot and working outside was tiring. We enjoyed having her at home and recommend her for other hosts.

I stayed here for about 3 weeks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in exploring Taipei and nearby areas with a manageable workload. There is a day shift (changing beds, cleaning floors) and night shift (helping at front desk, trash), both of which are chill. If you are looking for a work-heavy workaway, this is not the best fit. If you are looking to have a fair exchange between work & accommodation, this is perfect. The staff is wonderful and being in a hostel, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet others and culturally exchange, if you choose. The dorm beds have walls between them and curtain entrance so I found there was ample privacy. The hostel is overall very clean. The location is very close to the MRT station making it easy to access many parts of Taipei and surrounding area. I would come again if I return to Taipei.

I spend two very nice weeks at David's Hostel and can highly recommend this experience! Working at the reception was easy but I could also learn a lot about hostel management and working with booking plattforms. The hostel had only opened a few weeks earlier and was basically brand new – so I got to experience firsthand what it’s like to run a hostel from the very beginning. David thank you very much for this experience! You put a lot of effort in organizing trips for the volunteers and make sure that everyone has a nice time in George Town. Spending time with you, your team and the volunteers always was so much fun!! Wish you all the best for your hostel :)

Freddy replied my request quickly and we had communication before my arrival easily. I spent a week here and I'm happy about it! Freddy explained everything to me in Spanish , he was super patient to make sure that I understand, as my Spanish level wasn't advanced enough. My main task was cleaning the blackberry farm while I was there. Feeding other animals too. There were different types of tasks to help with. We shared meals together after work and had great conversations. He always have a list to recommend me visiting around Chincha, and being flexible about working schedule. I'd recommend spending time at casa !

Ich habe die dreieinhalb Wochen Aufenthalt bei Barbara und Martin sehr genossen. Barbara hat mir im Garten mit viel Geduld gezeigt, was ich machen kann, da ich noch keine Erfahrungen hatte bei Gartenarbeiten. Mit Absprache konnte ich selbst entscheiden, wann ich arbeiten möchte und an welchen Tagen/Tageszeiten ich die Umgebung entdecke oder es mir im wunderschönen Garten gemütlich mache. Barbara und Martin haben mir die Ungebung gezeigt, Ratschläge gegeben was sehenswert ist und mich zu ihren Freunden mitgenommen. So hatte ich Kontakt mit Menschen aus aller Welt und ihrem Leben in Galizien, was sehr interessant war. Sie haben mich viel in Restaurants ausgeführt, in welchen ich traditionellen Essen bekam oder Barbara hat zu Hause ein sehr leckeres Essen gekocht. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt, ich hatte eine wunderschöne Zeit! :)

My time spent with Adam and his family was very special and I'm sure I will remember it for a long time to come. They are fantastic people, who made me feel comfortable and I like to think we had a lot in common. I enjoyed our conversations a lot and felt understood. I stayed first in Opinogóra and then in Kielce. The work was very fair and I learned a lot about the farm and renovations. Plus we listened to good music :) Adam is very generous and I don't think I've eaten so well in my life. I would highly recommend this Workaway.

They're a really nice couple; no one's bored with them. They're sociable, communicative, and eager to help, kind, and full of humor. They connect easily, are non-confrontational, intelligent, and understand many things and tasks. You don't have to stand around watching every step. They've always complimented my food. Jake is also a very good driver. I recommend this couple.

Camille volunteered with us for over a month and quickly became an invaluable part of the team. She consistently demonstrated a strong willingness to learn and contribute in every way she could. Whether on site or at base, Camille brought positivity, reliability, and a genuine desire to help wherever she was needed. Her attitude made her not only a hard worker but also an absolute delight to be around. She fostered a supportive environment for others and was always eager to grow her skills while lending a hand to the team. Camille’s presence uplifted both the work and the community, and we are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and kindness she shared. We would gladly welcome her back anytime and highly recommend her to any future team or organization.

Cameron volunteered with us in Pasco County and was such a gift to have on both site and base. She is warm, intelligent, and hardworking, bringing not only dedication to the work but also a kindness that uplifts everyone around her. Her reliability, thoughtfulness, and positive spirit made her an incredible teammate and a joy to work alongside. Cameron’s contributions left a lasting impact on both the project and the community, and we are so grateful for the time and energy she shared. We would gladly welcome her back to any program in the future.
