Would love to find our next awesome Workaway we have space from now !
We are a family of 4
Mum & Dad are in their 30s
Im outgoing, loud, sarcastic, busy, fun, caring, helpful & spontaneous
Husband is working alot he is a tractor/truck mechanic, introvert, quiet, honest & kind
Both daughters are talkative, very active, love outdoors, loud, social, would play games all day & AMAZING!! hehe
We offer food/accomodation for help around the house. We have a beautiful home and large section with established gardens with many many plant varieties. We also currently have chickens and sometimes we have lambs.
Breakfast and dinner is supplied ONLY please bring your own items for lunch thankyou (use of kitchen obviously included)
General tasks are gardening, housework, cooking, hanging with the kids, and just integrading into our everyday life. If you have a specialty skill i will also hone in on that eg sewing or building or mosaic/art etc etc
We enjoy going for walks and swims
Fish and chips at the park
Watching movies
Playing games
There is a stunning bushwalk right outside our door. And Geraldine is a lovely town to explore
Bonus if you speak German as id like our daughters to learn it and i speak German.
Please understand we are a family and also working so may have to change plans last minute. Life Happens. Sickness happens; things pop up unexpectidly 😁 Im usually pretty good at making things work last minute tho
We are in a great location for busses into Geraldine Town from Christchurch or Queenstown
If you are coming from Dunedin or Christchurch there is also the option to bus to "Orari" Town which is 5mins away and im happy to help with transport for people travelling in those directions

Ajuda
Main duties are just housework or gardening. Window cleaning, wiping walls and doors, clearing out cupboards sheds etc, weeding shifting plants, vege garden, potting seeds, making cuttings, clearing out chicken coop, collecting eggs.
Cooking or baking. We love helpers who are confident in the kitchen to cook or bake and give me a break
Playing with our 8yr old and 6yr old girls, arts and crafts, games, reading, make believe, dressups, dolls etc etc
We have chickens and sometimes lambs. No dogs or cats.
How much or little you intergrade with us is totally individual to the person and times. Sometimes we are doing many activities and you can join in othertimes the workaway are exploring or doing fitness or even work in their freetime
