Such a wonderful family! Tania is great and was very easy to get along with and helpful with anything I needed! The kids are both great, and Katia will make you feel at home very quickly. The room has a good amount of space as well as them having room in the fridge for anything I needed for meals. Overall it was a fantastic stay just outside of Barcelona close to the beach and hiking trails in the hills/mountains!

I stayed for 8 weeks and I highly recommend this farm as a place to stay, it was a great time. In my time I experienced the changing period from summer crops to winter crops and everything in between. They do a great job at providing a diverse range of tasks and because the team is not too big, you are getting included in everything that is happening at the farm. They will let you know what is happening and why and happily answer any question! So if you are really interested in the work they do, this is a perfect place to go and learn. For me it was a really good mix between guidance and giving the workers autonomy. The working hours are very well respected, they usually will tell you much more often to take a break than what you actually need. You live in a community style on the farm which right now doesn't have a lot if structure or rules so it will change a bit with every person that will join the team. That means, that there is also a l of room for people to establish routines and rituals but it's up to the people living their. In the time I was there, the life together changed a lot. Some weeks were more social and lively and caring and with other people more of a individualistic approach. The food they provide deserve an extra mention! Really extraordinary good quality food, extremely diverse food and very nutritious. I never had such high quality food since leaving my parents home. Overall, great place, great environment, lovely people and I think interesting for all kinds of people. Shout out to Alex, Ionuț and Andrei, they are lovely people to work with :)

Rainer and Lisa were truly wonderful volunteers! They stayed with us for two months and were always responsible, kind, and proactive. Both were great communicators and always willing to help wherever needed. They cared lovingly for our dog Kaya and took great responsibility in supervising the hotel and supporting our daily operations. It was a real pleasure having them as part of the family — always positive, respectful, and easy to work with. We would happily welcome them back anytime and can fully recommend them to any future hosts!

We spent five weeks and the whole experience went far beyond our expectations. The owners, Daniel and Jupita, together with their lovely baby William, are deeply passionate about Batak culture and always happy to share their knowledge of the language, cuisine, and traditions. They are open minded, kind, and very helpful. The place is located in the countryside near Siantar, surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. You can find some local food places, small shops and cafes nearby. Also it's possible to reach Siantar by walking (30-40 mins) or using affordable public transport. The place is ideal if you want to spend some quiet time in a relaxed and peaceful environment. Since their baby is still very young, Daniel and Jupita can be quite busy at times, but they always make you feel welcome. There were many different tasks for volunteers to take part in, such as helping in the kitchen, giving workshops to local children, gardening and maintenance work, walking their energetic dog Chester, and much more. Everything was done without pressure, allowing everyone to enjoy themselves while contributing. We were also very lucky to meet other wonderful volunteers, including Grace, a lovely local girl who was especially kind to everyone. We shared many fun moments together and truly enjoyed her company. She was without a doubt one of the highlights of our time there. Overall, our time in Siantar was truly wonderful, and we wholeheartedly encourage others to visit and experience it for themselves. We had a great time at Simon’s place! If you get the chance to help him out, do it! You’ll learn new skills like for example tiling, woodcutting, and carpentry, enjoy amazing food and drinks (Simon and Julia are fantastic cooks), and the view… absolutely breathtaking. Sometimes the work can be hard, but other times you’re hardly working and just get to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Thanks for everything, Simon!

This has been one of the greatest workaway experiences that i've ever had! I stayed for 3 weeks and time just flew by so quickly! Champ was an amazing host! His kindness and hospitality made me feel very welcomed! His upbeat and fun personality was contagious and seeing how such a positive person he is just made me want to do the best work I could everyday. Seeing how passionate and hardworking he is and how much he really cares about the success of the resort really made me want to help as much as I possibly can. When it comes to the work, I was helping with making videos and taking some photos and I must say that I am very proud of the work that Champ and I were able to accomplish! Outside of the work, the resort is magical and Champ gave me some recommendations on places to check out during our off days. Also I got the chance to meet some of Champs friends and they were very kind people too! There was also another awesome workawayer there (Cris) and we went on a couple adventures together around the province which was a lot of fun. Also the meals that were prepared for us were sooooo delicious!!! There wasn't one dish I didn't love! The staff around the resort were also very kind and I really enjoyed talking to them. Noy is so kind and she even helped me learn a bit of thai! She is amazing!!! I had a wonderful experience staying at Tessa’s place! When I arrived, Tessa happened to be in Nadi as well, so she kindly gave me a lift, and we drove together to her beautiful home near Sigatoka. I stayed for two weeks and helped out with various tasks such as organizing sheets, planting seeds, and collecting seeds from the garden. The property has a huge, lush garden filled with all kinds of amazing fruit trees and vegetables. The work was very fair and flexible. Tessa was great about letting me plan my schedule if I wanted to do a activity. For example, one morning I went diving and did my tasks later in the afternoon, Tessa herself is such a kind and welcoming person. It was lovely getting to know her. We spent several evenings playing Bananagrams and chatting, which was always a lot of fun! Overall, I had an amazing time both at the home and with Tessa. I definitely recommend this Workaway experience to anyone who enjoys nature, good company, and a peaceful environment. Just a heads-up: the house is a bit off the beaten path, so if you want to grab a coffee or do some shopping, you’ll need to catch a ride or take a taxi. Other than that, I have nothing but positive things to say!! 🙌❤️

I so enjoyed having Kaho stay with me helping with housework etc, she petsittered for me twice and did a fantastic job, caring for pets and home. Kaho did choirs without being asked. a mature and efficient worker. I wish she was staying longer. My best helper to date.

Zaki and Jati are such warm and welcoming people, I felt comfortable and safe from the first moment. I got to know the family, their place, they introduced me into their lives, which I am deeply grateful for. Rochelle is such a cheerful, funny, and full of life person. During the 10 days she stayed with us, she brought a wonderful energy to our home and the farm. There was never a dull moment when she was around, always smiling, joking, and making everyone laugh. She helped us a lot with gardening, planting, and keeping everything clean and organized. In the kitchen, she cooked delicious meals and made every task feel easy and joyful. Rochelle worked with real enthusiasm and kindness, and her positive attitude spread to everyone here. We truly enjoyed her company both during work and at the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter every day. She quickly became part of our family, and we will miss her bright spirit so much. Brylee and Jake are an incredibly warm hearted, kind, and genuine couple. During the three wonderful weeks we spent together, they became part of our family. We shared so many beautiful moments together and created memories that will stay with us for a long time. Jake’s amazing strength and perseverance helped us complete some of the toughest garden work in a very short time, while Brylee’s care and attention to detail ensured that our new season’s crops were planted perfectly and on time. They always worked with enthusiasm and joy, and that positive energy spread to everyone around them, including other volunteers. Both in the house and on the farm, they were respectful, responsible, and fully committed to everything they did. Volunteers like Brylee and Jake are every host’s dream. It was great to have Marie with us. She was amazing with our little toddler. Tidy and organised, she was of great help to keep the house clean even with rhe little one "helping out"! Marie was very helpful in the garden and did a fantastic job helping us to sort trough, label and package some seeds harvested from the garden.

Ana kennenzulernen und mit ihr und ihren Tieren in der schönen Flusslandschaft zu leben, gehört zu meinen intensivsten und bereicherndsten Reiseerlebnissen. Sie hat ein Herz aus Gold und hat mich Last Minute aufgenommen, als ich 2023 mit 5 jungen Hunden einen Ort zum Bleiben suchte. Seither war ich immer wieder bei ihr und wir sind Freunde fürs Leben geworden. Ich schätze an Ana ihre Herzlichkeit, Neugier und Offenheit. Sie ist ein großzügiger Mensch, gewährt Gästen viel Freiraum in ihrem Haus und Umfeld und kommuniziert sehr direkt und klar. Wir haben Seite an Seite in Haus und Garten gearbeitet und kreative Projekte umgesetzt. Ihre Hunde und der Kater sind allesamt zauberhaft und die Landschaft in der sie leben ein Traum.

Highly recommended! The whole team is so kind and grateful for the help that it makes you enjoy working even more. Since the manager has just taken over the hotel, he needs a lot of help and has the capacity to take you on. Your work really helps to build something good. It can seem a bit chaotic at first because there is so much to do, but after a day you know everything. What's special here is that your work is really appreciated.

The hosts were very appreciative on my work. This motivated me to do my best together with the other volunteers. I also liked that we respected the nature and made sure that we stayed in harmony with the jungle while developing this resort. The food was amazing and the work was inspiring. If I am ever nearby, I will visit them again.

Giulia is a wonderful person with a very positive and calm vibe. An easygoing guest and proactive in helping with whatever needed doing. She also has a natural ability with kids - our daughter really loved the activities they did together.

Anna was an absolute joy to host. It was hard to keep up with her energy! She’s someone you can truly count on to get a project completed. Anna is a great painter and very easy to work with — focused, reliable, and full of good energy. I was really impressed by how she tackles every task with care and attention to detail. If you’re lucky enough to have her stay with you, you’ll see how strong and determined she is. Not to mention, she’s just a beautiful human being inside and out. Highly recommended.

It was a real pleasure to host Rens. He’s an extremely polite and kind Dutchman with a great attitude and a very sharp mind. Rens helped us build a greenhouse and paint our outdoor shower, and he did everything with care and attention to detail. He doesn’t need to be watched over — he quickly understands what needs to be done and just gets on with it. No complaints, always positive, and very easy to have around. I highly recommend Rens to any other host. I hope he’s having an amazing adventure out here, so far from home.

Zoe is an exceptional workawayer! This was her first experience and she was wonderful help. Zoe stayed two weeks with us and she helped with cleaning and organising linen for our guesthouse. She also did a bit of gardening, seed saving and sowing. There were no tasks above or below her, she got the job done with enthusiasm.
