Located between the beautiful Coral Coast of Viti Levu and Nadi, Fiji we are a sweet spot surrounded by an evolving organic garden homestay on the Coral Coast of the main island.
We welcome folk with experience in building projects, landscapers/ food gardeners, tree pruning, permaculture, biodynamics and restorative systems, renewable energy and water systems. graphic design, people good at planning and organising & tiding up spaces, artists are also welcome for mural painting and design work. There are always cleaning needs to be met and all our volunteers are expected to help out here too. We prefer couples with mixed experience on any of the above.
You should enjoy dogs and be willing and happy to get your hands earthed and sweaty and be flexible to do different things.
If you are able, I may ask that you bring something that we have difficulty getting here. We live in a semi rural space with beautiful beaches and great surf spots- (Hideaway, Sigatoka river mouth & Natadola) Sand dunes National Park, local villages, and are 10 mins out of Sigatoka town.
Accommodation and breakfast in exchange 4 hours per day. Weekends are off where you go out to sightsee and you take care of all your own meals on these days. Please make time to visit the local market for your supplies for your meals. You have full use of your own kitchen specifically for volunteers.
In your free time, You can beach-comb, swim, surf, kayak, trek, visit our sand dunes national park or pottery villages. We prefer that you go out during your 'off' time especially if here during weekends.. There are lots to see and do!!
Time frame is 2 weeks + depending on availability and exchange.
It takes 1.5 hours to get to the coast from the airport and buses are frequent. We do not have wifi, however, Internet connection is good here and you can access you can by purchasing a data plan sim from $25-30 FJD at the airport which will give you 125-130 GB for 30 days.
You must arrive at ours before 6:30 pm and during a week day, we don't receive volunteers from Friday -Sunday. When contacting us, please state what skills/ talents/ sharing you are able to offer for exchange. and we look forward to meeting and welcoming you. Vinaka!

We live in a semi rural area nestled in beautiful gardens of local foods and fibers. There are great surf spots close by; Hideaway & Sigatoka River-mouth are just minutes away and Natadola from 10 - 30 min drive.

Skillsets of any of the following: digital marketing, wellness/nature adventure, creativity- painting & crafting, tourism/hospitality and BUILDing skills. All volunteers are expected to clean- whether in the yard or general house cleaning- this is part of life.

In your free time, You can beach comb, swim, surf, trek, visit our sand dune national park or pottery villages. We have some great surf breaks close by that we often visit and you are welcome to join in.
We have a pristine bay 35 min walk away. We prefer that you go out during your 'off' time, and are flexible should you wish to do an occasional full day and take the next full day off. Local buses and passenger vans are fairly frequent and cost a a couple of Fiji dollars to and from most places. What is considered hitchhiking in other countries is always paid for here. its just a couple of dollars, please always offer to pay drivers.
