Amazing off-grid experience with an open-minded, kind and caring soul – Simone. The forest is an incredibly peaceful place with a beautiful view of the mountains and calm, harmonic energy. Our daily tasks were mostly fun working around the woods and chestnut trees. Simone introduced me to his lovely friends, and we had a lot of fun in our free time making chestnut marmalade, joining small events like a pizza night with a vegan master chef, exploring the stunning nature around, and much more. Thank you, Simone. It was an unbelievable experience to slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel her rhythm again. Take care and always stay true to yourself. Yo estaba en el barco durante un mes y ha sido una muy muy buena experiencia. El trabajo es solo tres horas al día y todo se explica muy bien para que los voluntarios entiendan lo que tienen que hacer. El alojamiento está en un espacio común pero hay cortinas para privacidad. Hay tripulantes a largoplazo que también viven en el barco o que visitan a menudo y son muy simpáticos. Hay muchas oportunidades para hablar español, de hecho hablar español es una ventaja en este trabajo y en general fue el idioma de trabajo. Conocer a otros voluntarios también fue muy divertido. I stayed for about two weeks. First of all, thank you for letting me stay! I have so many wonderful memories and had so many different experiences. I worked for two to three hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. I personally enjoy gardening, so I had a lot of fun. I was also able to go to Singapore on my days off, and she taught me how to get there and what to do in Singapore. The food was also a great fit for me, so I was very happy. Thanks a million.

Lidya stayed with me for a bit over two weeks and quickly became part of our daily life. She helped with the olive harvest and in the garden, always attentive and willing to give a hand. Sometimes she liked to take her time with things, and i really appreciated that — she was always genuine and present. She’s a reliable, polite, and very sweet person, with a thoughtful and interesting mind. We shared many lovely moments together — meals, wine, friends, and great conversations. It was a beautiful experience, both human and practical. I warmly recommend Lydia to anyone looking for someone kind, curious, and respectful.

I am so lucky to have gotten to spend my first Workaway with this family! They are so welcoming and made me feel so at home. The work is always fun and you will rarely work alone which is lovely. I learned to use a chainsaw with Pat, harvest honey and make bread with Mandy, cook and sing with Tierra, and made anti itch cream from plantains and oil and beeswax! The food was always delicious and the stories were always entertaining. Their faith in Christianity is a very important part of their life and they will share their views and faith with you. I learned so much about different plants, cooking, and organic farming. Pat and Mandy are both very knowledgeable and will surely teach you a lot! This family is so incredibly sweet and anyone would be lucky to have them as their hosts!

I can highly recommend Simon to any future host—if you have the chance to welcome him, don’t hesitate for a second. Simon is a wonderful young man, full of energy and positivity. His company was both enriching and inspiring. During the two weeks we spent together, I came to know him as honest, responsible, cheerful, and consistently hardworking. With his professional background in finance, Simon generously shared valuable insights and practical tips that broadened my perspective on investing. Beyond that, we enjoyed many engaging conversations. I personally liked him very much and truly appreciated his presence. We will stay in touch :-)

Elena stayed with our family for three weeks, and it was truly a wonderful experience. She is a kind, reliable, and attentive person who quickly became part of our family. Always willing to help, she approached every task with care, responsibility, and a smile. She was great with the kids, respectful of our home, and always positive and easy to be around. We really appreciated her calm and thoughtful nature — she brought a lovely energy to our household. It was a real pleasure to host her, and we wish her all the best in her future travels and adventures. Our doors will always be open for her — she will always have a home here in Italy

We hosted Yining from Taiwan for 10 days, and from the very first day, she adapted to our home so easily. With her bright smile and wonderful energy, she brought so much joy into our house. She helped us with simple household chores and participated in many fun activities with our children, Kenan Pars and Kuzey Sarp. Yining also gave us a big hand in our garden work . she was never just a guest, but truly felt like a member of our family. She cooked unforgettable Taiwanese dishes for us . we’ll never forget her delicious bubble tea and that amazing pudding! On her last day, she left us heartfelt letters and photos that made us all emotional. Even though we spoke different languages, our hearts always understood each other. The 10 days passed so quickly, and we already miss her very much. Yining, you will always have a home here in Antalya. We wish you all the best on your future Workaway journeys and highly recommend you to any host.

We had a wonderful time in the countryside in Colesano. During the olive harvest we met an international "team" and had a lot of fun with each other in harvesting the olives. Sara and Steen were good and generous hosts. In time, a trusting and sociable togetherness emerged. We felt very comfortable and can imagine applying there again.

Jonny and Toshi stayed with us for two weeks. They did a lot of work in the garden and food forest, oiled the stairs and cooked delicious meals. We made wonderful memories together. They are very special, warm, kind and humorous people! We sincerely hope that they find their new home not too far from us. We would love to maintain this new friendship with them. Hi, I spent a wonderful month with this lovely family. The children are adorable, and the farm and surroundings are beautiful. Piret and Tenno are incredibly active, kind, and attentive people. In the mornings, we worked building a greenhouse, and in the afternoons, I had time to take photos or visit Tartu. On weekends, I met up with my daughter to explore Estonia, following the great suggestions from Piret and Tenno. We shared many great conversations about family, life in Estonia, and our future projects.We quickly built a relationship of trust and friendship, and I felt completely at home. Tenno, Piret, Iko, and Iti — thank you for welcoming me into your home and for letting me share your daily life. I loved working on the farm and spending time with all of you. Alicia est une jeune femme intelligente, observatrice et courageuse. Novice dans l'entretien des jardins, après quelques explications sur la façon de faire et le projet, elle a eu à cœur de bien réaliser les tâches: taille haie, les déchets verts, enlever les ronces, préparer le petit bois d'hiver.. C'est aussi une excellente cuisinière à qui j'ai laisser l'initiative de préparer des repas qui m'ont régalée. Présence discrète et agréable au quotidien. Vous pouvez l'accueillir en confiance, elle vous aidera.

Great guy. Wonderful work ethic and conscientious completion of a variety of jobs; domestic, horticultural and even spirited discussions on a broad array of subjects. We really enjoyed Felix's stay with us and hope that he can find the time to come back for another stay.

Mumbi was a great company, she showed us around to different activities, the work was laid back and super fun 🤗we really loved the place and most of all Tayto (Potato) Mumbi’s cute dog we were so sad saying goodbye to her, we had a nice stay with other guests too We will always be Shambarinos🤗

When we spoke on the phone for the first time I felt this would a rich experience and I can confirm it truly was. Fabio and Maris transmit dedication and lightness in many ways, also with sweet musical notes and inviting smells and flavors. I learned about cuisine, music, current life, maintenance works and languages. I also appreciate the teamwork and the way how they showed me how to do my parts. Fábio and Maris I hope to see you soon!

I've spent three wonderful weeks with the family. They are nice and generous people who always look out for you, make sure you're comfortable, and well cared for. I had my own room and bathroom and my privacy was very well respected. I was well fed and discovered at least ten different kinds of pasta in the process (all of them very good). I had a lot of free time, during which I could visit the nearby villages by bike or take the train to Rimini or Bologna. They always provided me with great tips on where to go :) I was also often invited to join them in their activities. The village itself always seems to have something to celebrate on the weekend, so even if you stay in town, you won’t get bored. My job was to drive the kids to their various activities in the afternoon and evening. All in all, I had a great time and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to experience real Italian family life. Thank you so much for your warmth, generosity and some fantastic memories :)

Despite a shorter stay than planned, I enjoyed Apolline's company during the few days she spent here. We had the opportunity to do a variety of activities, some more challenging than others. Thank you for stopping by ☺️

Hanno addirittura cucinato per noi! La loro energia e la loro compagnia ci mancano tantissimo. Abbiamo trascorso delle serate meravigliose insieme, andando a cena fuori e scoprendo angoli nascosti del nostro splendido paese. Sarah e Joel, sarete sempre i benvenuti in casa nostra!"

My time at the Abbey was AMAZING! I loved getting to know the brothers and sisters, learning French, and even the type of work! I thought it was very fair for what they gave us in exchange. Me and the other volunteers had our own rooms, all meals provided, bikes to use to go to the store or through the countryside, plenty of free time (2 whole days off per week and at least one half day off) I would 100% come back to this Workaway. I stayed for three weeks but I wanted to stay for three months. Also, there were many prayer opportunities which I loved!
