I stayed with Olga and the boys for two weeks this past October and it was truly a special and inspiring time. Olga is great company, as are the neighbours and I enjoyed spending time with them all. I also thoroughly enjoyed seeing Olga play mandolin in the fabulous orchestra! Another highlight was taking part in an improvisational dance class. For Olga I made recipes to use up the apples from the garden. There were lots and lots of apples :) We dried apples, made apple butter, apple chutney, apple and ginger cake and probably some other things that I've forgotten. I enjoyed doing other cooking for Olga such as pancakes, everybodies favourite. I also enjoyed helping with the candle making, including sticker design and photography :) The house itself is very good vibes, from the clay that makes up the walls, to the music, crafts and artwork that fills it up. I am very grateful for your hospitality, generosity and kindness towards me. It was inspiring to see a slice of your life. Thank you for everything and I look forward to meeting again <3

Alessio (Alex) Compassionate and strong hard worker. It was a wonderful cultural exchange with Alessio sharing his Italian cuzine and language. He taught my son how to prepare an amazing zucinni pasta that we still eat once a week! He was rising early and going to the farm/workshop at 7AM to beat the heat and taking care of everything. Watering, mulching, planting trees, leveling garden beds, not to mention the huge job of digging down the floor level in one of my buildings through hard soil and stones. He took each task with an authenticity and seriousness and to experience on a level of not just doing but learning and appreciating to results of his work. After on month the transformation in the garden was amazing.

I arrived on Friday and Inma left without any explication of the duties. said will come back on Monday. soon Monday arrived and said is closing down the albergue.

Noah is an experienced workawayer with a wide range of practical skills. He brings a friendly, positive attitude, is sociable and works well in a team. In the short time he was here, we unfortunately didn't get a chance to taste his cooking but we've been told its sensational. We wish him all the best on his WA adventure...

Trinity is amazing! Joining all the different plans with my family and work. From the olive harvesting to selling jewelry in a music festival Trinity was up to everything. Thank you so much for saying yes and being part of our family for a little more than a week, for taking care of the animals, the place and enjoy it. It was a pleasure having you here! If you ever come back to South Spain, we will be waiting your visit.

Matias, Karen, Ellie and Abi are an absolutely lovely family and I spent a wonderful week with them. During my week I helped out with a large variety of tasks including creating plant beds, collecting mulch, making concrete for the drive and cleaning out the chickens. Mathias and Karen are both highly organised and this meant everything felt very efficient and productive. (They are also willing to be flexible with your schedule if you have meetings/calls etc.) I don't speak much Spanish but Mathias speaks great English and I really enjoyed working and chatting with him, learning about Chile, AgroEcology and his previous adventure in his Tiny House. I also had a lot of fun the evenings going on bike rides with Ellie (their 6 year old) along the roads near their house! And I will miss all the delicious food cooked by Karen - she very kindly cooked vegetarian meals for me and every single meal was amazing and it was nice to try some Chilean food! Would highly recommend this workaway and wish all the best to Karen, Mathias, Ellie and Abi!

I was very happy to host James. He was a very positive addition to life here. Apart for all the necessary chores which he completed with care and skill he was a great friend to the doggies and also most helpful to me. As well as the necessary tasks he assisted me with a number of administrative matters. While I was travelling to visit friends and family, he looked after the house, dogs and hen and welcomed an new workawayer and transported me to the airport and back. I felt very confident to leave everything in his care as he was a very trustworthy and capable person. I have no hesitation in recommending James to any future hosts. I hope we get to meet up again in the future.

Cosima is super cheerful and nice. She made our days funnier because she was laughing at all our jokes. She is a hard worker who did't stop besides her cold because she wanted. We really appreciate her help and company, It was a pleasure having her here and we hope she comes back. She rescpects the house rules, the animals, the enviroment and was part of our family for one week.

Aurelie was a very thoughtful and pragmatic person, not one for acting without first processing the impact and looking at how best to support the person with what issue has arrived. She was flexible and supportive of the needs of the residents we support. In our community she was reliable and trusted source for new volunteers and had a great positive impact on our workaway. Aurelie would be a great addition to any projects always volunteering with a positive attitude.

Zevi arrived, on recomendation, to join another workawayer who was house sitting for me while I was visiting friends and family, so we only had a short time together once I returned to Spain. In the limited time we had together I found Zevi to be a trustworthy, kind, and a thoughful individual who was willing to work at whatever needed doing around the house and gardens. I was sorry we only had a few days before he needed to leave as I was just getting to know him a little more. As he has travelled extensively, he is experienced in adapting to new cultures and situations and I can recommend him to any future, potential hosts.

Too bad that I can only give 5 stars to Laurence because this man deserve at least a 10 stars reviews !!! The hardest volunteer that I have host ! He is unbelievable as much he is kind, open minded and well educated ! A real brother, always saying the true and really reliable, I trust him 100% after two months working together there is just nothing much to say, he is mature and independent, smart with tonnes of knowledge, know how !!! If you have the chance that Laurence contacts you, feel lucky !! It was his first volunteering. It was amazing for my friends, plants, animal and myself to have you here ! It has been an honor :) I hope to see you one day with your good friend ! Much love and respect brother I wish you all the best, protect your amazing and pure soul from this crazy humanity! Sometimes, you're lucky to meet someone like Aiden. He's a real jack-of-all-trades—good at so many things and always genuine. He's hardworking, but also super relaxed and calming, which makes everyone feel at ease. It was great chatting with him about everyday stuff, with lots of laughs and easy talks. I'm really glad we met, and I hope we can catch up again soon. Best wishes for everything ahead, Burak

Elsa was an amazing volunteer. She had an excellent attitude and helped us with so many tasks, like preparing garden beds, removing weeds, pouring concrete for the pathway, installing weed control mesh, transplanting flowers, and more. She truly has an incredible willingness to help. Besides always being ready to jump in and collaborate, she also connected really well with our daughters. In the afternoons, she would go for bike rides with Elizabeth and also spent a lot of time playing with Abi. We shared some really lovely moments together. I absolutely recommend her.

Giulia is a truly wonderful person—warm, approachable, and full of positive energy. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to chat with her during our time together, but what little interaction we did have left a lasting impression. I truly hope we cross paths again soon so I can get to know her better. She also built strong, harmonious relationships with the other volunteers and handled all the daily chores with ease and enthusiasm. Best wishes for all your future adventures, Burak

We were lucky enough to have our very first Workaway experience with Dana and Yosl and their two wonderful children — and it truly couldn’t have been better. From the very first moment, they welcomed us like family and made us feel completely at home. We worked on a variety of small projects, helped with cooking, and spent time with the kids, which we enjoyed a lot. The whole family is incredibly open, easy-going, and generous. During the four weeks we stayed with them, they grew very close to our hearts and became real friends. Thank you for everything!

Anaïs and Camille are such nice people to have at the farm. They helped a lot. Also their relations with other volunteers were exemplary. Hope we can have them in our farm again. Cheers, Burak.
