Hi Workaway community,
I’m Xavier, I live in a charming village named Biot that is 2 000 years old, between Nice and Cannes, surrounded by mountain and sea for the nature lover :) there is a lot of history here
I’m living in a Cabanon, that I have nearly finished to fix, it is a little house used as a workshop in the past by my ancestors farmers. I have a dog too, there is a huge tank with fishes in it , a lot of birds and wild animals to observe aswell.
I’m self efficient for water and electricity, there is still a lot to do on the land, I would love to grow avocados, I’m starting :)
I would like to meet someone to help me to fix some dry stone walls.
The land is connected to the forest, there is a no fence around, there is ruins of a village in the heart of the forest, the sea is by 5 mn drive, a lake where I love to do paddle is about 25 mn.
There is all what you need to relax, chill and explore :)
I like to exchange with interesting people, I have been travelling for a few years and now I building my dream with a bit of my travels inside.
I like to cook nice dishes and welcome people in the best way for an enriching experience.
On summer there is a pool to cool down and in winter there is stoves to keep it worm.
You are more than welcome easygoing, curious and serious (not too much) people.
To resume I’m creating a sanctuary for animals, trees and humans

There is the village by 2km, where there is shops, restaurants and bar.
I have some friend visiting me on the land, on the days off we can organise side seeing, camping or whatever you’ll want.
I speak English, Italian, French and a bit of Spanish. I am a low tech lover, however I’m good with solar panel and technology.
I have push bike to lend you to explore arround.
Sharing is caring, I’m looking for peaceful, relaxed and volunteering buddies. -
Ajuda
There is plenty of différentes help you can provide me, firstly it’s about what you like and the way you like to work.
Caring about the garden and the forest, like cutting wood, cleaning leaves, planting and growing plants, fixing dry stones wall, doing some art or creativity stuffs, like creating, curving, painting.
I like sharing, exchanging, we can do team work or personal work it depend of what people please to do or the kind of work we are doing anyway I will be around in case of need or to answer any question and I can lend you some walkie-talkie :)
My point is I want happy people , that why I like to tell different things to do, like this you can change when you fee the way you want, on shade on on sun you take a break when you want and you do what you can :)
I just want my woofers to take pleasure while working and enjoying what they do 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Anyway when you do something with love it change all 💚 -

Acomodação
There is a bedroom for the workawayer with a nice view, quiet and peaceful bed with your own entrance. Solar shower is outside, toilets are dry, the kitchen as well is outside, for cooking, the one who just eat clean the dishes ;)
I like to cook a nice dishe after a day with a fresh beer.
All what is done here is made with love.
If you like to be closer of the wildness I can set you a camping spot on the land with tent or hammock for the more adventurous
Breakfast with coffe, tea, fried eggs, butter, cracker and home made jam
Lunch and dinner : salad, main dishe and coffee and dessert -
