  Hi, I'm Maggie a single working mom with 2 spunky creative kids 9 and 12 years old. We live in an old house in a traditional village surrounded by mountains and sea. During the summer months I host marble carving workshops almost everyday. This year I just found a new land where I will be starting a new project with permaculture and workshop space. There are many, many DIY projects here. I would like individuals who love to cook and or don't mind physical work. I will be planting, painting, building tarps, fixing a kitchen. The kids are old enough they are getting more independent we will try to balance all together.
  The village is centrally located in Naxos with mini markets, tavernas and on the bus line.

  We have a blended, multicultural, family. Greek-American. Here you can see the village life, immerse yourself in the Greek language and culture. Our villages are located in an agricultural (with breathtaking views, mountains and sea) valley filled with farms, orchards, animals. I study also Permiculture. I will show you how to carve marble and join in at a workshop.

  Ajuda

  I think this year we will be fixing a kitchen at my new workshop / farm. This will be the heart of the workspace and an extension of our home. The main focus will be preparing a lunch and care of kitchen. On days that I have workshops I serve small local products (hopefully from out garden!!!) and we all sit together with our guests. It's a collaboration and community spirit. Also whatever time allows for planting and watering.
  Morpheus loves helping in the kitchen and also with my workshops. Phaedra still likes to be entertained and needs to be included also.
  From 9 AM to 2 PM. We will eat at 2 PM and then siesta. We can go to the beach together or independently. Some days I will have another workshop at 4 PM. If I need help again in the evening of course I will compensate you.

  The village of Glinado 6 kilometres from the main port town Chora. You can bike, take a bus, or a taxi. There are several tavernas, mini-markets, cafes, free wi-fi within walking distance. Other things happening on the island are archaeological sites, art exhibitions, music, and night life.
