Absolutely a delight to have these two young ladies taking care of my animals while I was gone for 3 weeks! They took great care of animals and the house. Recomend them for future hosts :) thank you!

​Franziska stayed with me and my family for a week, and we appreciated her presence immensely. She and I had actually met in-person by chance at a concert I played and she attended, then realized we'd also connected on Workaway. The day she arrived, my dad had a minor accident and had to go to the hospital for several days, and Franziska immediately offered to help more with my mom and around the house. As a result, I was able to go visit my dad without worry, knowing that everything was well taken care of at home. She was consistently supportive, kind, responsible, and caring - a really wonderful and helpful houseguest - and the cats loved her too. We all got along very well, and communication was easy. Even in this short time, there were many nice heart-to-heart conversations between all of us. Our only complaint is that the time flew by so fast! We wish her all the very best in her continued journey, and hopefully our paths will cross again!

Hi everyone, We stayed for about a week and it was amazing. They gave us a place to stay, meals, and a great time. In exchange, we worked in their garden (stacking wood, mulching paths, etc.). Their house is in a great location, surrounded by nature and just a 10-minute walk from the train station to Melbourne, for example. Thank you for the comfort you provided us and all the delicious meals you prepared for us. Your welcome was very warm. Good luck and all the best for the future.

Doro has been a pleasure to have around. She’s organised and always takes the time to clarify things. I could trust her to manage everything on her own, and she followed instructions with care and attention. Above all, she’s lovely, kind and thoughtful. I felt very comfortable leaving my home in her hands. You are welcome back anytime Doro. Thoroughly recommended!

Working at Nammon's school was one of my favorite experiences of my life. The school itself is beautiful, and the Waldorf method of teaching she has brought here is inspiring. The daily routine of the children is so mindful and pleasant. You will find yourself comfortable right away. Nammon and the rest of the teachers are so welcoming, kind, and understanding. I was a little nervous to teach English to children who mostly only speak Thai, but I was really reassured by the other teachers' presence. The food at school and at home is AMAZING. Nammon goes out of her way to make sure you are happy and taken care of. She took me to the local market, dinner with her friends, lunch, shopping. When I was sick for a few days, her mom brought me soup and fruit. To this day she still checks in on me to see how my travels are going. I feel so lucky to have found this school and had this experience. It's really changed the way I view early childhood education. Please do this workaway if you feel interested! You will not regret it!

I have had one of the most meaningful volunteering experiences at the school Peace. In a first place I was supposed to stay just two weeks, but I was enjoying the job so much that I asked to stay longer, until my visa expiration. I left just because I had to, but I felt so sad to leave. Students, teachers and Mr. Sarann himself welcomed me warmly, and made me feel part of the community. The school has a big impact on the local community and it's something beyond any expectation. I will definitely find a way to go back there as soon as I can.

We spent a month with Ross, Ruby, and Harriet (and of course with their two dogs, Josy and Vivien), and the time passed so quickly. We were welcomed with so much warmth and joy. We can highly recommend visiting the family. It Was our very first workaway experience and also one of our first stop in Australia. Ross taught us many practical, hands-on skills. They always paid attention to our needs and always wanted to make sure we were doing well and felt comfortable. They let us take one of their cars on trips around Victoria and gave us recommendations for nice places to visit. The property and the surrounding area is beautiful you can encounter a lot of wildlife on afternoon walks. We will miss them all very much and will forever remember our time in Sandon. :)

I stayed for 2 weeks in July and it has been the easiest workaway experience ever for me. Relaxing schedule and it would suit travellers well who want to have a lot of free time and travel around Istanbul. Mustafa was friendly and helpful. Thanks for hosting me Mustafa!

It was more than just a random workaway experience… I can't express how much we loved our stay here, there are tons of artistic activities for art and culture lovers, and we were so deep loving each single activity that we forget counting the days and how we stayed in Nepal, Absolutely if you are an open minded, curious person with a mind full of idea and hands on any sort of arts, probably you gonna call this place home, like how we did… The team were beyond kind and helpful, we co-lived, co-created and spent a decent amount of time with this unique community and already we are counting down to come back again… If you got some magic in your mind or in your hands, don't miss this authentic artistic experience and have tons of fun. Not to forget the fact, during your artist residency, you will be in a central area of Kathmandu neat Patan Durbar Square, you will have great access to city life and most importantly you gonna meet brilliant souls in the community… 🙏🪷💙💥

It was such a pleasure to have Salome stay and help in the garden. Salome is a beautiful person who fits into any group or situation with ease. She is very neat and tidy and she kept all areas very clean and tidy. We were sad to see Salome leave and would always welcome her back as well as recommend her to anyone for any job she felt she could tackle.

We (couple of 28 yo) stayed at Pure's farm for two weeks in November 2025. We had an amazing experience there, meeting new people, learning about farming and building in bamboo. The food is fabulous. Overall, we appreciated the peaceful way of life at the farm and will remember Pure's words : "the most important is that you enjoy what you are doing". And it's not only words, every activity at the farm needs to be done in consciousness ! During our free time (every afternoon), we had the opportunity to go and see nearby waterfalls, to Phayao market, woodcrafts, painting workshops and many more !! We will definitely go back in the future ✌️

I had an amazing time staying with the lovely Midori-san in the countryside of Sasayama. There I was able to join local Matsuris and lots of other local events. During my time there, there were also a few other workawayers, which made the house very lively and it was great to connect. The work around the house and garden was not too hard and I learned a lot about gardening from Midori-san. She also taught me in tea ceremony, which was such a unique experience. I was there during a perfect season, where I could enjoy local specialties like black bean edamame, chestnuts and kaki. So thank you so much for hosting me, it was an amazing experience.

Melinda was my first Workaway host and she made the experience so easy and welcoming. She is a lovely person, very supportive, and always up for a good chat. She is also an excellent cook and has a beautiful garden with fruit and veggies. Aslan the cat is gorgeous and such a sweet presence around the house. I felt comfortable and looked after the whole time. I’m really grateful for my stay with her :)

This was our first experience with workaway and we felt extremely lucky to ended up at the Resort. Since the beginning Tash and Bob were super nice and helpful. We hardly recommend it, lots of work variety to always keep learning new skills and never get bored. The resort is 30 min from the city, but that’s not a problem because there are plenty of things to do here in summer and winter. The lodge (where we stayed) has everything we needed and is suited with a big kitchen and a cozy living room. If you want to explore the country is a nice place to start there are some amazing places near the resort. Having a car is not a need, but you for sure want one. We couldn’t wish for a better place to be to discover the Canadian lifestyle and go around the country. Bob and Tash (and everybody you will meet at the resort) will make you feel welcomed since moment 1, it felt like a big family. 100% you will love coming here!

It was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with Christian. If you are thinking about hosting Christian - do not hesitate! He was an outstanding part of our team, and we accomplished more than we ever thought possible with his help. His outdoor skills are second to none - he was able to help in every aspect of the farm including fixing gates, general maintenance, gardening, woodwork skills both inside and outside the house as well as animal care...the list goes on. Christian is also very fit so when we all got tired, he pushed on (and then went for a run afterwards!) His energy was boundless. Christian was really lovely to have around the family home, and we are all going to miss him. Wishing you safe and wonderful travels Christian, thanks for staying with us.

I had a lovely time with Sarah and her family! My work mostly consisted of weeding the garden and pruning flowers. Occasionally she had other tasks for me, like painting the new beehives. My dog and I loved the opportunity to be out in nature. The location of her home was awesome, if you have a car it’ll be really easy to explore Portland. There’s also a beautiful hiking trail that goes right off the property.

I had an insanely wonderful time here! Sara is an incredible host (and chef), she has put so much work and love into this place. And everyone was super friendly and welcoming, I loved the occasional music nights/jam sessions. There’s a lovely sense of community here. My work was mostly weeding the garden, getting some plots ready for winter planting, watering, and harvesting fresh veggies for dinner. I also got to help out in the very impressive mushroom lab and develop a deep appreciation for how delicious oyster mushrooms are. If you have the opportunity, I HIGHLY recommend volunteering here, this is a very special place!

I had a really good time in Huaraz, basically I got send on all kinds of Treks and Tours to take videos for the Social media Accounts. It was a lot of fun and I had enough time to edit everything and make my own timetable for everything. I hope everything goes well and there will be coming bookings out of it!

I was able to spend a month with this wonderful family – and I truly couldn’t have wished for a better experience! Vu was incredibly helpful, warm-hearted, and always attentive. She cooked delicious meals, showed me fantastic places, and always gave me valuable advice whenever I wanted to book or plan something. Thanks to her, I had an unforgettable time. I was also very happy to meet her friends. They welcomed me right away and helped me learn and experience even more about Korea – a cultural enrichment I deeply appreciate. Her son is absolutely adorable and full of energy, and I had so much fun playing with him. Her husband was also very kind, so I felt very comfortable from the very first day! I am incredibly grateful for this month full of warmth, great food, wonderful conversations, and new experiences. I can wholeheartedly recommend this host family!
