Description
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic receptionist to help us out in this fun and funky surf lodge and backpackers.
We are a small friendly backpacker - Surf Camp situated right near some of the best waves in the world. Not to forget to mention our beautiful beaches!
We sleep 35 people in our well-decorated vibrant camp so you get to meet cool people and make awesome contacts.
Whether you want to learn to surf, an avid surfer, or just a beach bum looking for a cool time this is a great location to come hang out.
We are looking for friendly, energetic people between the ages of 21 to 35 to join our beachy surf vibe.
We require a 4 week minimum stay 😀

We have nature reserves, waterfall cliff jumps,beautiful beaches, great waves, lots of sun, lots of party venues and great restaurants close to us.

You will be chilling with guests and making them feel at home.
You will be checking the guests in and out and dealing with payments.
We have a house cleaner but we also help her keep it tidy.
The odd load of washing needs to be done.
And to have lots of fun.

These girls Stayed for 1 day and then informed us they would prefer to travel.
They dropped us at an extremely busy time and would not even stay for the rest of the week to help us while we tried to find a replacement.

Jonny and Cherkanah were fantastic volunteers,
they were very capable and completed all tasks without problems.
These two were a joy to host. They were super outgoing and made all of our guests feel so welcome!

Caro volunteered with us for a couple of months.
She was a great volunteer and picked up the way things work here very quickly, always did what she needed to do, and was awesome with all guests who stayed here during those couple of months.
I would recommend Caro for any future volunteering opportunities, or anything to do with the backpacker life.

I had an amazing time at the hostel. The staff is very nice and helpful. And I enjoyed spending time with the guests. And the guests were amazing. I spend one month in Jeffreys Bay and its a cute little surfvillage. There are also a lot of Restaurants and Cafés to explore. One of the most well known surfspots in the World.

Although it started off being a bit haywired, I found everybody to be rather prepared and seasoned in dealing with what one could call life's caprices and circumstances. I enjoyed my stay and was well received. Fair weather and the best to you all!

Rob worked with us for just over a month and is probably the best volunteer ever. He is super helpful even when off shift and always created a lekker vibe. He always created a good atmosphere and had great energy when socializing with guests and the others and made a great family like vibe.

Staying with the guys in J-Bay was pure pleasure. There is so much to do and see in J-Bay, watching the surfers, catching waves by yourself, beautiful beaches, cuddle with the dogs all day (:, braai nights and much more. My time there has gone by way too fast.

Spent a few months here during the Jbay open. Daz is a cool guy. Lots of friendly local faces also hang around the hostel so you really feel like a part of the town by the time you leave. Surf was rad, job was laid back and people were usually flexible about switching shifts and giving you extra time here and there when the waves were cookin'.

It was a great experience having Teresa & Chiara volunteering with us.
As young as the girls were i was very happy with the professionalism they brought to the table. Working with the guests, admin and handling payments was smooth running and they picked it up very quickly.

Daryn and Antonio are just great.This is not a surfcamp like others. For me it' kind of a magic place. The people I meet there are among the nicest I ever meet. The surf is great. Work not too hard. And the guests are also nice. Nothing to add good luck team and keep on going.

This place felt like home pretty much from the first day on. Not only the sourroundings, such as the best surfspots, but also the staff and owner were really nice and welcoming. Can only highly reccomend it!

Fun, sweet and energetic girl that will only make your place a pleasure to be around.
As young as she was she picked up the job at hand very quickly and was willing to help out, even when not on 'shift'.
I'd have no problems with having her helping us out again.
