Description

Hello! My name is Esteban. I’m originally from Lyon in the southeast of France, and I’m currently living in Paris for my studies.

I am a very social, positive, and highly motivated person. I love chatting with people and discovering new cultures. This summer, I want to spend a month abroad to fully immerse myself in an English-speaking environment, practice as much as possible, and take my speaking skills to the next level!

Since I was a kid, I’ve been used to DIY projects and handy work with my parents, from home renovations to gardening and maintenance. I also have professional experience working both as a waiter and as a construction worker, so I'm not afraid of hard work or long days!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can help you with a wide range of tasks, from gardening to DIY and handy projects.

I also have experience working as a camp counselor for children, so I am very comfortable around kids and love organizing activities. Back home and at my grandparents' place, we have dogs, cats, and chickens, so I would be thrilled to take great care of your animals!

Furthermore, I worked for 3 months as a waiter in a restaurant. This experience taught me how to work efficiently under pressure, communicate well within a team, and provide great customer service.

I am a very active and sporty person, so physical tasks don't scare me at all! I love learning new things and I adapt quickly to new environments. It would be a real pleasure to learn new skills from you!"

I am a very curious person who loves interacting with others and getting to know new people. I am also quite active; I run regularly and have been practicing judo since I was very young. I have a deep love for nature and hiking, and I enjoy spending time in the mountains taking in the scenery. Helping out on your farm would therefore be a fantastic experience for me.
I have always helped my parents with chores around the house, whether it’s garden maintenance, working in the vegetable patch, or looking after animals. As a result, I am very comfortable with gardening and homegrown produce. I also have a very strong bond with my own pets (my dog and my cats).
I have worked several summer jobs in construction, specifically as a mason and a pool technician. Because of this, I am very handy with manual labor and home repairs, which I hope will be very useful to you. Additionally, I spent several years as a summer camp counselor. In that role, I was responsible for the activities and safety of groups of children and teenagers aged 6 to 17.
To conclude, I would be delighted to lend you a hand this summer and discover your culture. I’m a pretty easy-going person; my only request in return is to be able to talk with you as much as possible to improve my English!
