Hey I am Yousef :)

The life I am trying to live is a big adventure worth exploring. That's my daily intention, exploring the world I'm part of and in a way exploring myself. With that intention, I embarked on multiple journeys everyday unlocking tools that help me on this quest. For example, a few years back I taught myself to paint, and see the world through artistic eyes. I learned to produce music, giving me a more appreciative ear to the sounds around me. I always gave myself thought provoking books to read, that make me marvel about the people and stories around me. I am always searching for good movies, food and architecture. I have great interest in anthropology, cultures, history and philosophy. I studied to be a doctor ( a career I will soon begin), which is just another tool to understand the mysteries of the body and the mind, a tool that will allow me to help and have a positive impact on my fellow beings.

But one thing I am really happy about, is that I always pushed myself out of my comfort zone to travel, and that's the greatest school Ié ever attended. Through people I met, rich experiences I had and places I have seen, I have been able to learn how it all connects together, I have been able to learn alot about myself, everyday tweaking and working on myself to make it something I'm proud of. I am grateful I was born into one of the most culturally rich countries of the world, and through the travels I had I was able to absorb some of the cultures of the world as well, making me a global citizen, one who accepts and loves the different, while actually seeing it as similar in reality.

I came to Workaway, to be able to get more of these rich experiences, travel to a country as a local, live it as a local, contributing to the world and accepting its contribution. In the end, I hope I am able to deliver good energy to any place I become part of.

I can cook a good meal, help around in a farm or house, work on art projects or help with constructions and handy works. I can speak good English, Spanish and Arabic and could exchange languages.

Here's a list of some of the best experiences I had around the world:
- 6 weeks volunteer to teach english in Vietnam
- Student exchange in Hospitals in Austria, Brazil and Morocco , 1 month each
- Backpacking for three months around central and south America
- As well as various trips to most countries around Europe
